"Davis answered my request for an estimate promptly. His estimate for repairing damaged ceiling plaster seemed fair. Ryan did a great job repairing and evening out the spot next to my chimney breast that had come loose from water damage. He explained how he would do the repair, and sanded and plastered and smoothed the area so that it looks pretty uniform with the rest of the ceiling. Ryan was friendly and personable. A bonus was that he brought his father, Larry, who is retired, along to help out!"

We highly recommend Portland Construction and would definitely hire them again."

"Julio did an excellent job repairing the large hole in our plaster ceiling in our dining room in our turn of the century home. He was fast and efficient. We will certainly hire him again when the need arises."

"Dave was very professional, easy to communicate with and punctual. All work was done as agreed and on time, and he even went above and beyond a bit, which I really appreciated. I would definitely hire Dave again. He is very knowledgeable, has fair prices and is a pleasure to work with."

"A high quality job in all respects."

"We have used Robert and Roger for numerous projects including sheetrock, flooring, cabinet installation, removing a wall, painting, plastering, etc. Pretty much everything but plumbing and electrical. And have been very satisfied with every project they have tackled for us. We have an older house where nothing is square and most everything is outdated and they would mull over the problems they encountered and come up with a solution for each one. And their prices are incredibly reasonable!"

"First let me say that we received several bids from highly recommended painters, but Alfonso was the ONLY one to talk about the prep work. He noticed and pointed out parts of the job that required repair and replacement. He understands building and he demonstrated fine skill while working on our twenty-five-year old manufactored home. His team was professional as well. Tom demonstrated great skill as a carpenter. The men arrived early and stayed late. Breaks were brief and their commitment to the job was evident each step of the way. Preparation was not hurried and everything, once repaired, was very well caulked. Three colors were applied, much of it by hand. When the taping and the plastic was all removed, we couldn't believe the results. Our old home just pops. It looks new again. A perfect job we feel will last many years. ABQ is highly recommended. Even our dogs loved these guys! Wonderful painters; wonderful men."
