"I spoke with Rick who is a arborist. I simply asked for 12 or so trees to be pruned. He said emphatically "No, we are ethical contractors and pruning the oak tree wouldn't be ethical." I asked him what the heck he was talking about and he said "he cares too much for the trees to prune them and have them die." I proceeded to tell Him that we had the same trees pruned in the past and they did well. Rick then proceeded to give me a price of 700.00 to remove an oak tree about 40 ft high. I repeated that I ONLY want the trees pruned and not taken out. He then said he could take all 7 trees out for 1500.00????? I repeated once agin that I only wanted them pruned. He insisted that the pruning. Was not something he believed should be done for whatever reason. Wow, this guy was not the most pleasant guy when discussing the project. I somewhat understood his position, but he could have been more professional about it. I am in corporate sales and if I handled sales calls like him, my family would starve! <br /> <br />"

"When I called they were very nice and said that they probably wouldn't get out to look at my yard until Monday, with the next day being good friday. I wasn't expecting them until after Easter anyway, so I was fine with that. To my surprise, I got home from work on good friday to find that they had already been there and left a detailed estimate on my door. I called on Monday, expecting to get the usual high pressure type of call that you get with most lawn service companies. It was the total opposite. They simply went over the estimate and asked me which services I wanted. They didn't try to force extra services on me or try to sell me something that I didn't need or want. It was a very nice experience dealing with them. They arrived a few days later for the first treatment and the lawn is showing improvement already. I would highly recommend them."

The crew comes every week to cut grass and during the winter, they'd do snow removal from my driveway & sidewalk when accumulation was greater than 3 inches.  What a great feeling it is opening my garage door and seeing they've already been there to take care of business before I even woke up in the morning. "Good, Mark, our technician was excellent. Yellow jackets resolved at time of service. Treated for carpenter ants, seems to have taken. Rodent still not resolved, but traps in place. Had to have them come back to treat a yellow jacket nest in the ground, handled as part of the monthly package. Only nit is promised a call back on Monday (had to call in on the weekend), didn't receive call back until second contact and received call on Tuesday. Tuesday the situation was treated. 275 was first treatment, 40/month thereafter for three treatments per year and any needed ad hoc visits."
