"Their foreman Steven showed up on time and gave me a very decent quote for what I needed (tree trimming, fallen limb removal, and dead tree removal). I went ahead and hired them. Steven and his team showed up on time for the service date, but a storm rolled in while they were working. They left due to lightning, but the front desk , Ellen, called me to let me know they would return to finish later that week. They returned on time too, and finished the job. They even left me 2 bags of potting soil to cover tracks in the shared yard I have with my neighbor after my neighbor requested it. "Landis Bunton, East Coast Tree Service, LLC, arrived at our home, quickly assessed that the 2 dead trees needed to go and a water oak as dying and should be felled. He quoted $1,000, a remarkably low number based on our past experience, and expected he could do the work in 2 weeks. We called him after 5 days as some of our plans had changed and asked whether he could get to the work sooner. He promised a callback and shortly committed to the next day at 8:30am, exceeding our expectations. Next day on time his bucket truck, chipper, tractor and grinder showed up with a crew of 5-6 very professional workmen who got right to work. They felled the water oak with the bucket truck and ropes so that adjacent structures were not damaged while crews dropped the 2 dead oaks. All wood not chipped was cut to fireplace size and the smaller pieces chipped and left for us. I had done some tree trimming and my wife asked if a little more wood could be cut away which they did at no charge. All workmen I talked with were personable and willing to answer my questions. After 3 hours Landis showed to confirm our satisfaction and receive payment. He offered to deliver more wood chips when he was in the area at no charge. Landis runs a very professional operation, and I recommend him highly."

"We had a 24 inch at the base Red Oak tree that the City of Summerville felt would be good only 5 feet from the foundation of our house die. Yeah, that was a great decision. After 4 quotes, we found the price to be reasonable, so we made contact. The Team worked around our vacation schedule to make this happen quickly, and the work was done with precision! 10 feet of the dead tree was over our neighbors roof. 15 feet of the live part of the tree was over our roof. Yeah, I was very nervous about roof damage. They set up a pulley system and cut and lowered each piece like it was a priceless piece of art. There was no dropping 20 foot sections from 50+ feet in the air.
