We service Orange, San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Believe it or not, being an entrepreneur for Andy started at a very early age. Andy first became an entrepreneur at the tender age of 8 years old when he ran his own egg route in his neighborhood. Interestingly enough, his egg route was so successful that sometimes his mother borrowed money from Andy to pay the rent. During Andy's adolescent years, he met his wife Nancy in the 3rd grade and finally started dating her sophomore year of high school. Andy played football and basketball, while Nancy was head cheerleader. The high school sweethearts stayed together into college as Andy received a football scholarship from Stanford University. After graduation, Andy and Nancy headed back down to beautiful Southern California to start their own pest and termite control company, Bug Squad and POW! Exterminating, Inc. The company was established in 1980 and still going strong just like their marriage. That is what Bug Squad and POW! Exterminating is all about. Pacific Coast Termite was formed in 2007 by Co-Owners Dennis Wilson and James Grande. The Company was started in Tustin California, and has expanded to cover the entire state. During this time the company has grown each and every year, propelling Pacific Coast Termite to one of the top termite and pest control Company's in the Nation. We built this company with the goal of helping Californians eliminate termite problems without going through the inconveniences of tent fumigation. Pacific Coast Termite has successfully treated over 20,000 homes, businesses, and commercial properties throughout California. By using Orange Oil and other similar products while our customers stayed home.
"In February 2018, we discovered termite frass in two of our window sills, at the corner of one room. We hired PCT to do the work, because their treatment does not require moving out and uses relatively safe chemicals. We had a previous home burglarized during a termite tenting, so we were hoping to avoid it. Two days after the first treatment, the frass was back. They told us to give it two weeks for the treatment to "get them all". The problem got worse, not better, so they came out in March and treated again. Everything seemed fine, for a year. Today: termite frass in the same windows. The work is still under warranty, but consider: there have been termites in the walls, eating the wood, for a year, undetected. AFTER we paid for treatment. They're coming back out to service it again, but, let's be honest: we're going to have to have the house tented by another company, and we've been informed that our warranty only covers retreating - no refund if we conclude that the work wasn't effective. So, yeah - I have to conclude that the reviews and exterminators I ignored were correct: orange oil and other similar treatments aren't effective at killing the entire colony, and are a waste of money. They uphold their warranty, and they appear to believe in their product, but I don't, not anymore."

Bee removals FAQs
Swarms of bees stay for just a few hours, but can remain for two or three days. Under the right conditions, beehives can last indefinitely, as bee colonies are self-sustaining. The queen is the heart of the hive and can live for up to five years. As she ages and her egg production declines, the worker bees replace her by raising a new queen.
Worker bees live up to six months if born in the fall, but only about 40 days when born in the spring or summer. Drones live between three weeks and three months. The queen continuously lays eggs that quickly mature to replace bees that die. Ask your beekeeper or pest control specialist for further details based on the type of bees you have.
Ideally, you should remove a bee's nest very early in the morning or late in the evening when all of the bees are in the hive.
Bees do not fly at night, so although they may buzz and show some activity, they will not fly or swarm. This allows you to remove the entire colony safely in one attempt. While bees may be slightly more active in the early morning or late evening, most will be in the hive, minimizing the number of stragglers left behind.
After complete bee removal, stray workers will not regroup if all traces of honey, comb, and pheromones are thoroughly eliminated. Professional removal procedures seal access points and remove every residue that could attract bees, ensuring the area remains bee‐free. Follow-up inspections confirm that prevention measures are effective, so your home remains secure against any re-infestation.
