"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. "Magen arrived on time to assess the job and offer her price.  We found her pleasant, energetic, knowledgeable, thorough and professional.  We agreed to terms and a date was set.  She suggested a particular, highly regarded (Consumer Reports, other trusted info sources), environmentally benign brand of stain which, being ardent environmentalists, pleased us immensely.  We provided her with our  choice of colors.   <br /> Again, she arrived on time with her assistant - her father - a professional painter with many years experience.  They efficiently set up and set to work; clearly well practiced and professional. <br />  She painted a patch of the siding with the color choice we provided.  We did not like it at all; how did we go so wrong?  She returned to her paint dealer and returned with several small sample cans with colors similar to the one we chose but which she thought we might find pleasing.  Her first choice was exactly right.  While this was happening, her father was doing the prep and painting the trim. <br /> I'm retired from the building trades; an electrician.  Though not a painter, I've worked on a number of construction projects where professional painters were plying their trade while I was plying mine.  To me, one of the telling skills of a good painter is "cutting a line"; painting one color adjacent to another.  In this case, the trim color next to the body color or visa-versa.  See the photo I attached.  Not only was it perfect, it was done quickly and effortlessly. <br /> We asked her to repaint the "rising sun" - created of clapboard and painted in gold - over our front door, on the gable end.  She asked us how we wanted it.  Being very impressed by her skill at that point, we told her to use her imagination.  Absolutely fantastic!  See the attached photo. <br /> The job was done quickly, cleanup (what little there was of it) was meticulous. <br /> We are very, very pleased. <br />"

"I wish that I could provide Mario & crew a 6 star rating! My job was exterior house, garage and re-staining deck. My mother's house was exterior stain, paint shutters and trim. Everything was pressure washed, scraped, primed and coated twice. All was done with professionalism, attention to details, consideration of your wishes and care of your property. All are hard workers and courteous. There is no doubt that I will have them come again for the interior. "Once again, Jason and his guys came through for us for an emergency situation. I noticed a small amount of mold growing on the ceiling above our shower. To me this was an emergency. Though Jason was fully booked up, he found the time to remove and replace the ceiling, install a new exhaust fan, and do all the associated repairs.
