"John is a very nice guy to work with. He was brought in by the gentleman who did the go-over of our old, cracking ceilings so I didn't actually hire him but I would again in a minute! He got here early and by mid-afternoon had plastered two bedroom ceilings. They are beautiful! Perfectly smooth and level. I did the painting and couldn't find any problem spots at all. He didn't make a mess and was very careful to clean-up afterwards. I will definitely hire him in the future to do any plastering of walls and ceilings. The finish is so much nicer than just tape and joint compound.

"We contacted Distinctive Painting because we were having issues painting a ceiling in our house. Turns out the plaster had calcimine and that's why the latex paint wouldn't stick. Mario contacted us back and even though they didn't perform the service, Mario told us exactly what to do and which materials to use to be able to do the job. We were happy to do it (it was only a ceiling...), but his information was crucial. I will also say that I contacted five other painting contractors, left messages, but no other company got back to us. If we ever need a bigger job, we will certainly contact Distinctive Painting!

"Scott did drywall/plastering repair for my bathroom and he installed a brand new vent I had purchased.. called me right away as soon as I requested the job and met me at Home Depot so I can by the materials I needed. His labor price was very fair. The job took 1 day and was perfect."

"Roldolfo responded very quickly and was able to accommodate our immediate timeline. He was always on time, very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. His skim-coating around two newly installed windows was terrific, and he was kind enough to repair a few additional anchor holes we added after he had begun. That being said, my husband and I fixed several deficiencies with the painting we only noticed after he had left. In a few places, it looked like only one coat of paint was used on the walls and the trim, as a few spotty areas still showed some of the plain white primer underneath – as if the rollers were not sufficiently loaded with paint. It produced a slightly splotchy, uneven appearance close up. We touched up some drips on the radiators too. Once we added another coat of paint ourselves, in specific places, it looks beautiful. My husband and I wanted the job finished ASAP so we could put all the furniture back, so we did it ourselves...although based on his responsiveness Rodolfo would likely have offered to fix the problem areas if we had requested it. Personally I would not hire them again, but if you need a job done very quickly, he’s capable."
