Two rooms of wallpaper removal, with subsequent drywall resurfacing after removal, and covering of past water staining. We had never used professional painters before, but due to the scope of this job we reviewed Angie's List and crossed our fingers. Well, the previous reviews for Buckeye House Painting were spot on. They were FABULOUS. Katie helped us pick new colors, which was a great help. We could not believe the attention to detail. The house looks brand new. What impressed us the most was upon doing the final walk through to look for any touch ups needed, there was nothing that needed redone. No spot left untouched. It was obvious they cared about the quality of their workmanship. Yes, the cost of a job this large is not inexpensive, but we feel we got more than what we paid for with the quality of the result."

"So far so good. Painters have arrived today and we did a walkthrough. They are painting all the trim, downspouts, soffits, everything that's white. Painters are also supposed to replace a couple of wood panels over the garage door and the trim, along with a corner piece of trim in the back of the house. I will update my review after they are finished. Painting being done in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. After only receiving one coat of paint when I was told my paint job would be two coats of paint, they tell me that they applied two coats of paint on the same day. I know as well as anybody else knows you have to wait for paint to dry at least 24 hours before applying the second coat. The owner told me it only needs to drive 4 hours before applying the second coat. I explained to him that there were many areas of the house they didn't start on until 5:00 in the evening and they were packing everything up at 8:00. I got charged for two coats of paint. Every other painter told me in their estimate you need to wait 24 hours to put the second coat on and it would take at least two days to do your house. Those other painters were charging more, now I see why custom paint jobs charges a cheaper price because they claim to put two coats on and only do one. I only gave you one star because I can't give zero. I feel I'm getting ripped off for one coat of paint and I am not happy."
