"Tracy and his crew did a fantastic job repaintinf the entire interior of our newly purchased 2700 sq foot house. Kitchen, bathrooms, all doors and trims, everything looks clean and sharp. Tracy was very easy to communicate with, gave excellent recommendations and took our preferences into account. They finished the job in 3.5 days showed up early every day and worked hard to fit our moving timeline. They paid very close attention to details; his crew took off all window shades and blinds, removed outlet covers and light mounts when possible to paint everything as completely as possible. I was very impressed with their precision on trim work and cutting in, the house looks fantastic. All of this was very reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him and his crew again or recommend their services to any family and friends."

"My neighbor got his house painted by Jay’s. I could see the nice job that was done on their house so hired him to do mine. I did not even bother getting other bids. Jay and his crew were very efficient. From the power washing to masking, scraping, caulking and spraying, the job was done in less than 3 days. Jay was back and forth but monitored his guys closely and made them keep to his standards. Afterwards they cleaned up everything and put things back that had to be moved. I can highly recommend Jay’s painting and will probably hire them to do some inside work for me down the road. I’ve had several neighbors complement my house color which is a pinkish coral. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but Jay didn’t judge my choice or try to sway me to a different color. Jay is a nice guy and we got along great. You will like him too."

"We had the entire interior of our home painted. The painters came in and prepped the house for two days before painting. They patched and taped all of the appropriate areas and then painted with two coats of paint. The results are fantastic and we are very pleased. "We asked 4 painters for bids. The first came out the same night, but we didn't receive his estimate until 6 days later. He was fairly detailed about what he would do. Frank Baldwin came the next day. I liked his detailed discussion of the issues, but especially I liked his plan of doing the interior in sections so that at the end of each day the house would be livable. He presented a written estimate before leaving. The third came the next day (a Saturday). He also left a written estimate. He was quite detailed also, but while the first two estimated a week, he estimated more like 3 weeks. His estimate was also close to twice as high. The 4th came out the following Tue and emailed their estimate the next day. They were also higher than the 1st 2 but seemed very business-like, maybe too much so in that it seemed that if anything unspecified came up it would be difficult to deal with. It was also somewhat higher than the first 2. The Painting System crew showed up 2 weeks later as scheduled. This was the last week of April and the weather was somewhat unsettled, so we were concerned when the crew didn't show up Monday until after noon, with rain predicted for Tue or Wed. However, they didn't have a problem. They had estimated a week and they were done by Friday. They did the inside during the rainy stretch and then did the outside (in a very strong north wind). The inside included all closets, which was quite a bit of extra work. There was also one section of the ceiling that wasn't easily handled, but they persisted until we were reasonable satisfied that it couldn't be improved. This was a series of ceiling cracks that turned out to be more trouble that expected. I would say that at all times they were professional, courteous and very responsive to anything we were concerned about. After the first day they took the trouble to remove all flooring plastic to allow us to have a reasonably normal night. The oddest time was the final evening when they had masked all the windows so it was like living inside a coccoon. Again, each day they came early, worked hard, and finished on schedule and with no price overruns. We have been very satisified! Since we used the exact same color scheme, they had more trouble to be certain they didn't miss any sections, but anywhere we had a concern they were happy to repaint without argument."

"My home was built in 1930; I'm not sure when the separate garage was built, but clearly is older.  The garage interior was not finished.  Caldwell installed pegboard on two walls & sheetrock on the other two.  A small window was eliminated which entailed matching the exterior lap board siding that is so common in East Sac older homes.  The other remaining "window" which only had a funky screen was updated.  A window was built with plexiglass so that I could close and latch it or leave it open for ventilation.  The workers also constructed a new window screen that can be removed.  The exterior siding patch was caulked and painted as well as the interior sheetrock.   <br> <br>William came out within a couple of days to give me a bid on my project.  He had very helpful suggestions some of which I ended up using and, in the end, made for an improved finished product.  William has some fabulously skilled workers on his crew (Jim, Steve, Will in particular).  The entire job took 3.5 days to complete.  The workers cleaned up each day and kept me apprised of what was done and what will come next.  All the workers were on time, very personable and attentive to my concerns, answering any questions.  At the end of the job all debris and extra materials were hauled away or left with me (if I wanted them).  William stopped and checked the job progress making sure the construction was as we had agreed,  At the job completion, he walked the project with me making sure I was satisfied.  Everyone, including the office staff, are very professional. <br> <br>I can highly recommend Caldwell Construction for any home project.  I have already hired them for an additional job!"
