"I purchased a dishwasher and an above-range microwave from Costco, both within a few months of each other. (Rats chewed up my former dishwasher's wiring and ruined the whole unit.) On both of these installations, my experience with A-1 was nothing but very positive. These guys really know their way around kitchen appliances! They had some issues with removing the old microwave, but Cole figured out a workaround and managed to get the thing out. Our only real issue has been with Costco, because the store doesn't bother checking with A-1 before setting a delivery date. Then A-1 has to change the date because they're backed up. That glitch is all on Costco, not A-1. We've had many contractors and installers in our home, but A-1 is the best! You can count on them to work quickly, efficiently, and carefully. "I contacted Cabinets.com because of a friend's recommendation. I am totally remodeling my kitchen top to bottom and had no idea how to go about creating a design or much else.. I was nervous about all the questions I had and whether he'd be willing to walk me though the process for as long as it took. Not only was he willing, but Greg calmly and patiently answered every single question. He spent as much time with me as I needed, explaining what I didn't understand, adjusting what I needed, and suggesting. what was optimal for. my needs. He even brainstormed solutions with me when I was unhappy with any aspect of the design. Not only did Greg professionally and compassionately help me, but he had a way of reducing my anxiety when it reared up. Greg was respectful of my budget and my needs, and truly heard what I said. He answered every single question I had, and when I didn't know what to ask, he knew what to say. I can't wait to get my cabinets and create my dream kitchen. "I would not recommend. At all. For 4 months we have been fighting with the owner to rectify our inept install. It all began with the salesman who over promised and under delivered. Then the main installation person was in a huge hurry and left behind many unbelievably careless mistakes and we are still finding more. One is even a fire risk. I could go on and on. My husband is an electrical engineer and is fixing them as he discovers them. However, the worst, we do not have the outside heat pump that our huge house requires, they simply installed the lower level unit they happened to have on hand. Dishonest! The owner is attempting to manipulate us to just walk away. He is pushing us to the limit when he should simply admit his employees screwed us over, make it right, and then we will go away. My husband is a pit bull and he isn?t going away. The fight goes on. "
