"Pete helped us completely redesign and renovate our outdated hall bath and rebuild master bath shower. During demolition he kept his work area super tidy at all times (no dust and junk through the rest of the house), was always on time and sensitive to working around our home schedule. We did not experience the major inconvenience we were dreading. He upgraded and fixed prior owner's shoddy renovation in master bath (major issues) as well building a super solid foundation for the new walk in shower. He did such a great job that we asked him back in May to renovate our hall bath. He had to fix a LOT of the previous owners "cheap fixes". We threw him a few curveballs during design, (with add ons and material changes) and he handled them easily. This new bathroom is so well built now, it will outlive us all! We have had lots of work done and major renovations over the years, and Pete at Hammer Time is the only one I have taken the time to write a review about. Because my grandma always said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

"After finding out that Hi-Tech warranties services the state of Iowa, I have just been blown away by the responsiveness I've gotten from Keith at Hi-Tech.  We've been in contact almost everyday for the past week.  He's been very good to stay in touch & to let me know what things he needs from me, in order to get us set up with this home warranty service. This was the only company I saw that offers warranties for the exterior of your home. Under the best plan available, I was still able to get everything covered I needed for $50/mo. This was a much better price than I had seen from other companies (that don't provide exterior services). We haven't actually had any problems or needed to make a claim yet, but I have the utmost confidence that it will be handled timely & professionally."

"After a lot of family discussions about whether we should do this project or not this year and phone-tag and delays on their end, the work eventually commenced.  From start to finish, the owner (Jack Menard) and his workers carried out the job professionally and quickly.  They removed the shingles in one day and replaced with Syntek paper.  The materials arrived exactly as we had ordered.  I was able to observe every stage o the work and it was carried out as I had requested.  Now, we have a much higher quality roof than we originally had that we expect will last for the lifetime of the home. <br /> <br /> Overall impressions / thoughts: <br /> We probably should have removed our cars from the garage during the original roof tear-down, due to the debris and nails, but that was our fault. <br /> Each day, the contractors did a good attempt to remove the nails around the house, but I found over a dozen (especially in the garage) so check for them yourselves. <br /> The owner seems to be a genuinely good person who wants his company to do great work, but he may seem a little flaky in terms of getting back to you after you call. <br /> OVERALL, we are very happy with the work that he and his workers did for us.  I would recommend them to others."
