"Wow what an excellent crew Gray’s landscaping has. Very professional and gets the job done. This company deep cleaned, deodorized and sanitized my carpets actually brought them back to life. Also my lawn looks grrreat. If I can give 10 stars I would."

"We tried another company before Lawn Sense and our lawn got worse. Since we started using Lawn Sense, our lawn is good. We have used them for a number of years. A couple of neighbors switched to Lawn Sense because of our lawn - we didn't encourage them or anything. Also, they are always nice when you call and ask questions."

"Shamrock has shown a high level of service, attention, and professionalism by: - Responding to my request for a quote (5 of 8 calls to to other services yielded no reply). - Visiting my yard to prepare the quote (the other services who replied did not) - Providing a quote which included observations and analysis of our lawn, such as grass varieties, weed types, insect problems. - Recommending needed services and not recommending ones not required (it was too late for a pre-emergent crabgrass, and insect control was not needed as no problems were observed) - Having a staffed office or an answering service to take my messages when I had questions and wanted to confirm proceeding with the service. My calls were returned within one or two days. - Sending a friendly "lawn care guy" to do the work who let us know what he was doing and went about it quickly. - Blowing off pellet fertilizer from the sidewalk and driveway where it had spread beyond the lawn. - Leaving a description of the work completed in the front door, with short-term recommendations about cutting, watering, or pets. - Having a secure, easy-to-use web site which allows on-line payment. They offer a discount for pre-payment of the full season."

"The fellow I dealt with was transferred to a different location. He was wonderful. He was just fantastic. It was probably about two or three years ago when he was transferred. So I got a different guy who was awful. He was careless. The first guy would go through the property and whatever needed to be done he would write it down. A crew would come out and get all of those things done, always to my satisfaction. They were nice and polite. It was great to work with them. I don't know whether this guy had a different crew assigned to him or what. First of all, he never bothered writing anything down. So a lot of things didn't get done. The specs I got from him omitted a lot of things the first time around. So we had to send things back and forth a couple of times before he got it right. When he was actually here he didn't write anything down. He just didn't seem to give a damn, frankly. He was nice enough. He was polite. Some people actually by name, mentioned him and said, "He was just fine." Those were usually people who wanted trees taken down. So it was really fairly simple. He would say, "Okay, we can get that out of there for you." The name of the first guy was Rich. I was in touch with him annually or more. We would walk through my yard, which is not huge. But there is a lot of stuff in it. Things that I hadn't even noticed, he would notice and say, "That tree is looking a little bit weak. We can put some stuff in the ground to help it." I was so disgusted with the other fellow who cancels an appointment at the last minute one time because it was Arbor Day and he had to go with his daughters to plant trees. He called me around 4 o' clock in the afternoon to tell me that. The appointment was at 5. He wasn't professional. I looked up Bartlett to see who his manager was because I wanted to talk to him. I really couldn't get the information I wanted on the internet. So I called back the first guy. I called him and said, "Rich, I really don't know what to do. The new guy is just a nightmare. Is there somebody out of his office that you could refer me to so that I could have a different agent." He said, "Well, I can come back. Where I am located now isn't that far away. We had a good working relationship. You're knowledgeable. I can come back." So he did. So I'm very happy. The good guy is just absolutely excellent. They're expensive. I think most tree services are expensive. So I would say they're probably in the ball park. I don't think the fellow who preceded Rich was as knowledgeable as Rich. But he was a nice guy. He was prompt and got things done."

"Brian does great estimating and does hands-on supervision of what actually happens, which I really appreciate. He calls before he comes, to makes sure it works for my calendar.  He is also very good at caring for a very old maple tree on my property, which had been damaged by the previous owner.  He has high-tech machines that can assess which branches are living and which need to be addressed.  I've also used them for some minor landscaping in the past, but really like them for the tree service."

"We hired this company primarily for week control. In spite of their 'guaranteed" weed control, I saw emerging weeds on a weekly basis. I've spoken with technicians a number of times about this and also to management by phone with no improvement in results. We are older and both have knee and back issues. With a typical southwest PA lawn that has a definite slope, hand weeding has become too difficult for me. After two seasons of poor results (and a husband who is slow to complain and doesn't like change), I'm done."

"Mr. Uriah visited, looked over our property and gave an estimated cost. Within a couple of weeks the work was done. We have a few isolated lawn strips and I was pleased none were missed. Everything looked good and was cleaned up from the driveway. In a couple of weeks we were billed. This was a pleasant experience in getting a routine job done. <br />"

"Good, Mark, our technician was excellent. Yellow jackets resolved at time of service. Treated for carpenter ants, seems to have taken. Rodent still not resolved, but traps in place. Had to have them come back to treat a yellow jacket nest in the ground, handled as part of the monthly package. Only nit is promised a call back on Monday (had to call in on the weekend), didn't receive call back until second contact and received call on Tuesday. Tuesday the situation was treated. 275 was first treatment, 40/month thereafter for three treatments per year and any needed ad hoc visits."
