Mr. Joe Stubenhofer came soon after our initial inquiry, and we walked him through our main dilemmas of an unsafe walkway & the backyard being too wet & bumpy for mowing. We found his laid- back personality yet his obvious knowledge to be a perfect fit for us! We wanted terracing for our walk & a small flower garden, other than that, Joe had free rein to make initial plans...and we were absolutely delighted with the design! While reviewing his design he sparked my interest & a couple visits to his nursery choice (Johnstons on Wales Rd) took place along with floral changes. Also based on our concerns, Joe suggested shifting our patio idea over & once things were spray painted out on the ground, we found his spot to be far better (By the way, his crew was awesome and walked us through width changes for the new path & patio.) With every question we had, Joe's team had answers, and we would TOTALLY hire them again!! They were knowledgeable with our questions, hard working, easy to get along with, listened to our concerns, & guided our changes. They added safety and a charm to our house that we didn't know it could have, and the drainage in the back is much improved & newly planted grass is growing! Hats off to you all!! (p.s.--It will look worse before it looks better. lol We were able to see paver color options with staff at our local Aftons prior to ordering. Keeping our project with local companies was important to us!) Does anyone know if it was sold? Does it operate under a different name? How can I get some repair work done to the heater hood? Any information would be a great help."

"RIP OFF!!! I called for an estimate. No date was scheduled for any work, never heard back from them. Friends cleaned up the lawn. Got home from vacation to a $245 bill claiming I owed for "Fall Cleanup" when we had only discussed leaf removal. They claim they showed up while we were away "removed leaves" that had already been raked, and also mowed and trimmed which I never asked for, and the property LOOKS THE SAME as when we left!"

This is the initial meeting between the decision makers of your household and our design professionals. We get a feel for your budget range, what your vision is, and key aspects of your landscape you wont be able to live without. We can then take all property measurements and photographs necessary to take back to the office to come up with your quote and/or design. The design consultation is a $50 fee due at the first meeting. This fee covers the costs of our designer working with you both on location and back at the office. The fee is then refunded when you decide to do the job and comes off your final bill. On the first visit you'll need to let the designer know if you would like a full scale blue print by our landscape architect or a real-life digital illustration using our design software. We reccomend both so you can see both the spacing of your landscape elements and a real-life visual of what it will look like upon completetion. Hourly fees do apply to both types of designs. If you like our quote and design you can then place a deposit to hold your position in the installation schedule. It is a good idea to get on the schedule early (as soon as the fall prior to the season you would like installation) due to our schedules filling up fast; especially if there is hardscaping involved. \n\nWe really enjoy what we do and look forward to working with you to help create your landscaping dreams!

"We got an estimate and made a verbal agreement to get some concrete work done to widen our driveway. He told us it would take three days at the most, but he still isn't finished 20 days later. He left a mess and did damage to surrounding areas through his careless workmanship. He did a horrible looking job and the concrete he installed was not properly finished and slopes toward the driveway rather than away from it.. I honestly don't think he's ever done concrete work before. He is no longer responding to my text messages with the usual phony promise to be here "tomorrow" to finish up. In addition, he went over the estimate by well over a thousand dollars because he told us that the estimate didn't include the price of the concrete and we would have to pay for that separately."
