"I had been wanting the tree removed. Other gardners did not want to do it.  The tree was on the front lawn and other methods had been used to help the grass and it did not work.  In my second season with Bowers Lawn Care & Landscaping, I asked if they could remove the tree.  Mr. Bower stated that could be done and recommended re-sodding of most of the main lawn and another area.  I agreed with his recommendation.  Within a week Mr. Bowers along with his crew came and did the work.  They came early and were done before noon.  It did not take long to recognize the great work they had done.  I soon felt my lawn was one of the better ones on my street.  My family agreed when I sent them pictures.  They had all seen first hand the previous lawn.  Routine lawn care was also provided by Bowers.  I look forword to the 2015 season when they will be doing some landscaping and routine lawn care. <br />"

"His younger son is doing the work now. I have a one-year contract but I am really thinking about stopping it because I don't think that the son is as serious about it. I find that weeds are not being picked up. I am not as happy as I was when I first began but I won't stop the service until I have talked to the dad and double checked. The kid must be 18-19 and I think that he is just going through the work as fast as he could. I think that it is expensive for what I am getting right now, but it would be reasonable if they did everything that I thought they were going to do. They definitely come when they say they are going to come. They keep their schedule very well. They are willing to come out and take care of things."

"I used them for few years and recently in the last couple of months I let them go. The companies are based on who their employees are and sometimes they are very good and other time not so good. They were about average. They came out when they wanted to and one month they missed me and I called to find out what was going on. There is one thing that I want to say about them is the people in the office when you call no matter what the problem is they always take care of it. They are very responsive to their customers that way. The price was average. They never went by any time span to do the work. I planted the lily bulbs several years ago and they would weed whack it thinking it was a weed that poor thing didn't have chance to grow but it used to never happen all the time. I had to tell them it is a flower and not to weed whack here. I didn't know what to do but put up a sign not to whack it. I sometimes had to tell them not to weed whack on it but cut it but they used to look at me dumb founded until the supervisor on the job would ask what's wrong. I told them to cut it back the way it should be and not weed whack it. He would look at the guys and say she is right and don't get the clippers. Not all of them knew what to do. It's a decent size company. The office people are very nice people. I let them go not because I was irritated with them or unhappy with them but it was mainly because I needed to get out and do some physical work. After Sunday I am thinking about recalling them, but I need to get out there."
