Rick Doesburg began working for the company in 1969 and bought the company from the Thorntons when they retired in 1999. He now serves as the CEO. Thornton Landscape has been designing, installing and maintaining beautiful and quality outdoor spaces for more than 50 years. Through the decades, many customers and team members have become family and indispensable to the organization. Like Rick Doesburg, many of Thornton Landscape’s 35 employees have been a part of this family-owned company for more than 25 years. Rick Doesburg and his son Andy Doesburg, president, have served in numerous leadership positions in the industry. Following in his father’s footsteps, Andy has also served as president of the Associates Council of the Greater Cincinnati Homebuilders Association in 2007. And he was the ONLA president in 2009.
