"<p>Our 70-year old home was looking quite sad with paint peeling on every side, rotten boards, and a general sense of neglect. We were unsure of what could be done to get it back into shape.</p> <p>Of all the paint contractors we contacted (5 in total), Tyler from Shades of Rose put us most at ease. His bid was very competitive for the amount of work and he was honest, straight-forward, and patient with whatever questions we had. His crew arrived on time every day, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. "We had just renovated our kitchen and in the process decided with our contractor, that the cabinets were in good shape and only needed some touch up painting. We also wanted to have the walls repainted to "freshen" the look in the kitchen and give it a new sparkle. We had previously used A FRESH COAT PAINTING, and were extremely pleased with their extreme attention to small details and professional understanding of painting. We had a couple of substantial "dings" after the removal of the old countertops. With the installation of the new granite and new appliances, there were some new areas that needed paint.  Kurt came out to the house and explained all the options and processes they use with each. We decided that touch up was the best option, along with repainting the kitchen walls. We agreed upon the colors and paint type, and Kurt responded a day later with a proposal with options. Work was started promptly as scheduled and completed as agreed to. I am extremely nitpicky about painting, and in the past have done the work myself because I didn't trust anyone else to the job to my expectation. A FRESH COAT PAINT always exceeds my expectation and while doing the work provides great guidance about maintaining high quality paint finishes. We are always impressed with their final product and extreme attention fine, high-quality workmanship. The cabinets look like new and there is no trace that they were only touched up.
