"I don’t typically give all 5 stars reviews, but Charleston Stump Stompers and Tree Service is truly worthy of it. We needed three trees removed (including one 40 foot pine tree) and stump grinded, a bush stump grinded and our front trees pruned. This order was made during the frequent storms we had late in 2018. Your ground needs to be pretty dry in order to prevent damage from the equipment needed to roll into your yard. Communication is very critical to me in regards to a company’s performance (almost as important as quality of service). This company’s communication is excellent as they went above and beyond to keep me informed about possible dates (due to weather), proposing to shift schedules to work with me and always make me feel like Priority #1. Their quality of work was outstanding and my yard looked even better than when they started. The staff is very friendly, local and down to Earth. Highly recommended! I have no problem recommending this company to neighbors asking about my tree work."

"Their foreman Steven showed up on time and gave me a very decent quote for what I needed (tree trimming, fallen limb removal, and dead tree removal). I went ahead and hired them. Steven and his team showed up on time for the service date, but a storm rolled in while they were working. They left due to lightning, but the front desk , Ellen, called me to let me know they would return to finish later that week. They returned on time too, and finished the job. They even left me 2 bags of potting soil to cover tracks in the shared yard I have with my neighbor after my neighbor requested it. "We had a 24 inch at the base Red Oak tree that the City of Summerville felt would be good only 5 feet from the foundation of our house die. Yeah, that was a great decision. After 4 quotes, we found the price to be reasonable, so we made contact. The Team worked around our vacation schedule to make this happen quickly, and the work was done with precision! 10 feet of the dead tree was over our neighbors roof. 15 feet of the live part of the tree was over our roof. Yeah, I was very nervous about roof damage. They set up a pulley system and cut and lowered each piece like it was a priceless piece of art. There was no dropping 20 foot sections from 50+ feet in the air. Besides the 2 houses, also under the tree was azaleas, both still living and unharmed, blackberry bushes - also unharmed, and out sewer pipe feed-in. Also undamaged.
