"They do all the painting by hand. They came exactly when they said they were going to come. The location that we are in has a lot of humidity. There were a couple things wrong, and they came back to fix it no cost. It is not their fault that the paint is bubbling up. The paint may have adhered to the primer. 95% of the painting there was no problem though. This company is very professional, and stands by their work. They are some of the nicest people, and are a delight to have around. I cannot say enough nice things about them!"

"They did good work but we had a tussle with the price. It got adjusted. The problem was that they discovered but was not on our line and our property was in the Earl sewer in the street. Those two guys hung around for an hour or couple of hours. It was for the Earl to do it. But we got charged for it, a couple of hundred dollars and I said they did not do anything but just helped the Earl's with what they were doing. Then we got the bill and finally got it straightened out. We have used them for years and they do good work. They come right way. They were very professional really. This was an unfortunate incident."

"I initially contacted Jardine's Painting through the contact form provided on Angie's list, and David Jardine promptly responded by email to begin discussions about what work was needed. David and his colleague then visited my home and prepared an estimate based on our discussion. Let me say at the outset that my home presents some unique challenges for any exterior work because it is situated on a steep wooded slope and portions of the house are not easily accessible. Other painters I talked with expressed reservations about taking on the job. But David and his colleagues seemed to view the job differently -- they saw an opportunity where they could use their expertise and creativity to achieve an outstanding result. I was impressed with the enthusiasm and can-do attitude that they expressed during our initial consultation -- this was an important factor in selecting them to do the work. I was very pleased with the way that they approached every aspect of the job from that point forward. I was concerned about making the right color choices, and David was courteous and helpful in discussing all options with me. In fact, he even designed a custom color mix for the garage door that complements the exterior stain beautifully. I had previously thought that perhaps the garage door needed replacement, but now it looks new. All of the other staining and painting tasks undertaken for this job were also very well done. For example, I had recently had sections of the siding replaced with new wood, and other sections were etched from vines that a former owner had allowed to grow on the siding. David and his crew managed to make everything look uniform and you cannot tell that either of these former issues ever existed. I would also like to state that David and his crew were courteous and professional in every way. They took the time to discuss various options of the work with me. They were also considerate of the fact that I had pets in the home and they were very careful to not let them outside. They cleaned up thoroughly at each point along the way and were very respectful of my home. In summary, I think that the house looks beautiful with its new exterior staining and paint job, and I could not be happier with the work that Jardine's Painting did. "Raymer & Son Exteriors has done many jobs for me through the years and has always done an outstanding job. This job was handled in the same professional way all the others were. My old deck steps were not only rotten but each step was a different height and the top step was 11" high. Tom ripped out the old steps and repaired framing that was unsafe. He installed new steps (adding one step) and now all my steps are exactly 7 1/2" high and he made them 16" deep which is exactly what I wanted. He even picture framed each step with the decking treads. He also replaced my step railing which was old and to high from the steps. Tom also cut fence pickets to match my current fence exactly. He replace two full sections that were damaged and various pickets in other sections. He had to replace two of the fence posts. The treated wood will have to dry over the winter and then in the Spring I will have Tom?stain the whole fence and deck."

"We liked everything about them.  They were terrific.  Their quote was actually less than many of the companies but they came here, they go the job done within the week.  It is a big job because the whole house is cedar and the chimneys are also cedar that go up to about fifty feet and one guy came and looked at it and said he wasn’t going up there, but these guys came and they did it.  They rented all the right equipment that was needed, they did a very good job, and they got it done. "
