"I have been using Trugreen for about one year. After researching and speaking with other lawn services in my area, I chose Truegreen based on how affordable it is compared to others, and I needed a treatment against grubs wreaking havoc on my newly sodded lawn at the time. My lawn now looks great! The price of a professional treating my 5,500 sq/ft lawn outweighed buying the materials myself, and the amount of time it would take for me to apply the correct amount of the product was well worth it. The customer service is friendly when you call in as well. That said, trying to get information from Truegreen about lawn issues and setting up a specific service call is horrendous! There are so many miscommunications inside Trugreen that I get different answers every time I call in. It took me two months speaking with five different customer service reps and finally a manager to schedule the aeration package! It took multiple weeks for my lawn to be even treated for grubs when this was one of the reasons I needed a lawn service! I have security cameras which also caught the reps NOT treating the entirety of my lawn. When my yard showed fungal issues (either that or fertilizer burn), I called customer service to set up a lawn rep to inspect my property for fungal issues, and I requested a callback. The representative treated my property the first time for routine weed control, and the work ticket did not mention anything about fungus inspection. The next day another rep came out and said he had no idea that he was inspecting for fungal issues and was there to treat for weeds! I cannot make this up! I made a side comment about them being America's #1 lawn service, and he said, "I wouldn't call us that. I have no idea what I'm doing." If you are looking for a good laugh, Truegreen is your route. Just know what you are getting."

"I've been a customer for 19 years and I emailed and asked if they had any cheaper options to what I have. They canceled me (I guess). I've sent several more emails and it shows where they have read them, but no one will answer me. I work various hours and have a lot going on and can't find time to call, so that's why I email them. They can't keep people employed and there has been a different person come in my house every time."
