"I've been trying to get this work done since signing the contract in March 2025. They started out strong but then disappeared without any of the done contracted work done. They only sent 1 person for a day in June and 1 person on Sept 1 and they haven't answered any phone calls or responded to texts since Sept 2. I really just want the project done. I've paid thousands and it's all incomplete. It's so frustrating that I'm now trying to find them on online. If they finally finish the work I might revise this review but right now I've paid so much money and they don't respond to phone calls or texts or emails. I feel really stuck with a partially done project in bathroom and partially done project installing a new basement ceiling. Since i haven't gotten any response app month I'm trying to find them online"

"Horrible communication. Delayed work for months which cost us a lot of money. Brandon and Detailed by Design are not upfront about costs and their ability to complete projects on time. We met with the owner Brandon to address all the issues and finally agreed to a resolution which would have still been a loss to us however he reneged at the last minute and did not pay to replace the old furnace he tried to pass off as new. If you choose to use this business, check all receipts on "new" appliances they say they installed. We reported this business to the Department of Labor because of the shoddy work in installing the furnace and because the furnace was old when we paid for a new furnace. The dept of labor confirmed they were not licensed to install the furnace. We paid for a new furnace ourselves and a licensed contractor to install it. Overall a lot of issues and an absolute nightmare. We are still working on recouping some of our costs from this business."
