Hi, I’m Jami. I’m a handyman, painter, and problem-solver with years of hands-on experience in home improvement and property management. I work out of Elizabethtown, KY and travel throughout Hardin County and nearby areas. I specialize in efficient, pain-aware painting workflows, plumbing repairs, and practical fixes that actually last. I blend blue-collar grit with real-world know-how, and I don’t leave a job half-done. If you want someone who shows up, gets it done right, and doesn’t waste your time—let’s talk.

"Isidro and his crew removed the mold and applied a paint that will keep the mold from re-forming. Isidro also determined that we would need new gutters to prevent the problem from happening again. We had known the gutters were in bad shape and we also knew the leaky gutters were probably causing problems with moisture so we went ahead and hired Isidro's company to remove the old gutters and replace them with new gutters. Isidro always took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. His crew was hard-working and friendly. We are so happy with the results! We have no signs of mold in the basement and the gutters are doing their job. It is also nice to have attractive gutters now."

"They showed up on time. They got the job done on time weather permitting. I've used them about  four or five times. Their price is very reasonable. They did a good job for a little less so I can't complain."

"I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"Excellent.  Did not have to wait around on calling back etc.  Called on Monday, received estimate and started work on Tuesday.  Finished on a Friday.  Pressure washed entire exterior of barn prior to paint.  Completed job by brushing which was both our preference.  No paint on metal trim which shoed attention to detail.  Would definitely use them again. <br />"

"Highly recommend working with GJ.  He started with a home visit to get measurements and recommend some styles of granite that would complement our existing decor. We then met him at the store where we could see examples of the different styles and narrow down our choices. Of course, we fell in love with a hard-to-find style. GJ worked diligently to try to find the best slab for us and was honest about the pros and cons of the slabs he found. He even created mock-ups of the cuts in the slab so we would know exactly how it would flow in our kitchen.  <br /> GJ also assisted us in selecting a sink and faucet then set up the plumber to do the install. Great for people new to Lexington who do not already have a trusted plumber. <br /> The installation went smoothly. The two gentlemen who did the actual install were very professional and respectful of our home. They even swept up the entire open-area, not just the kitchen when they were done. GJ stopped by during the installation and came back after everything was completed. <br /> GJ has a laid-back and personable style which makes him easy to work with and he was great working with our decorator. <br />"

"He is very good at what he does. He takes his times and does not make a mess. Very professional and did a wonderful job, I am very pleased. His prices are very reasonable. He is polite and nice. My walls were not in the best of shape and now they are flawless. He called back to check up on the paint job and make sure I was pleased."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Munfordville, KY

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
