"Due to illness in my family, my palms were terribly overgrown, I had tried to hire people to trim, but they had no idea of what they were doing, until I met Fernandez with International Green. there was more room to upload pictures you would see before and after. He even replaced one palm that was almost dead. They worked in a timely manner, cleaned up nice after finishing my front and back yard, I have 16 palms he trimmed today. I even had some I thought I would just dig up, but by the time he finished, I am so had I listened to him and let him trim them. I highly recommend International Green to anyone looking for a wonderful job and very reasonable price. Thanks again Fernandez and crew. Donna "

"Scott just finished power washing my rental home and cleaning the gutters. He did a fantastic job. My daughter, the renter, was super pleased. Scott stayed in contact with me throughout the process and sent me photos of the work in process since I couldn't be there in person. I plan to have him power was my house in April"

Customers say: Super punctual

"Terrible lawn service and terrible customer service. The owners of the company aren’t local and they haven’t seen the yards they service and arent willing to come on site. The only thing “Always Green” in my yard are the weeds in the beds and the money in their pockets. They are the most expensive yard maintance company we have had yet provided the worst service. Their crew routinely overstayed what weeds they addressed resulting in dead plants. Flowering bushes were trimmed while in bloom. Grass clumps throughout the yard killed the grass. When asked about the continual issues in the yard and service they responded “Mother Nature”."

Customers say: Quality work

"PROGREEN said he would guarantee the elimination of the moles and weeds. Neither has happened. I still have both. The drywall work was subpar in a few places leaving rough spots. I contacted the owner and requested that he come out to discuss the results and make it right. He has broken half a dozen or more commitments to come back to finish his work. I have given him EVERY chance to make things right but he has not. Also, while he was here doing the project initially, a neighbor of mine asked if I was happy with his work, well, I said yes because he was a nice guy and was working to complete the requested tasks. Based on my recommendation, they also decided to use him for a project. He repeatedly told them he would come out and start but blew off their appointments just as he has done to me. VERY disappointing. again, I have given him more than half a dozen chances to make this right before submitting reviews but apparently he doesn't feel the need. VERY DISAPPOINTING."

FAQs for lawn care maintenance and mowing projects in Murrells Inlet, SC

Hiring a professional saves you time and can actually save you money in the long run. Without regular care, your lawn might develop problems like thatch buildup, diseases, or pests, which can be expensive to fix. A pro keeps your lawn healthy, so you can enjoy it without the hassle.

Mowing your lawn yourself is generally cheaper than paying someone to do it. While a lawn mower can cost between $80 and $2,500 depending on the type, professional mowing services charge between $30 and $80 per visit. Investing in your own mower means that over time, you can save money by handling the mowing yourself, especially if you maintain your lawn regularly.

While the wording may vary from company to company, lawn maintenance typically includes all the services that keep your current healthy lawn looking sharp. Think mowing, watering, weeding, and a spring or fall cleanup.

Lawn care digs a bit deeper. These packages may include services that elevate your lawn's health or address an issue throughout the year. Fertilization, pest and weed control, and dethatching all fall into this category.

There is no set-in-stone schedule for mowing your lawn, as each grass variety grows at a different rate depending on the season. Once you determine the type of grass in your lawn and its ideal height, aim to remove no more than the top third of the blade at a time to retain its healthy structure.

In the high growing season, this will likely break down to about once a week, which is why lawn care specialists often offer weekly plans.

Don’t mow your grass if it hasn’t grown more than one-third of its height since you last cut it. For example, if you want grass no more than 2 inches, don’t mow it until it’s 3 inches. Don’t cut your grass when wet, as it clumps together and places more stress on your mower’s blades and makes it harder for the sun to reach the turf. This can lead to mold or disease. Conversely, don’t mow when it’s too dry. But, if you do, be sure to raise your mower’s deck height by about half an inch to encourage slower growth.

Yes, landscaping can significantly add value to your home. High-quality landscape design offers a return on investment of 20% to 30%. A well-maintained lawn and attractive outdoor spaces enhance your property's curb appeal and market value, making it more appealing to potential buyers when you decide to sell.
