"Excellent!  The driveway looked new again.  Also, this is our second year with All American for winter snow plowing and summer lawn maintenance and we couldn't be happier.  Nino and his crew always take care of everything promptly and professionally.  If you're looking for a professional job done by dependable folks at a reasonable price for any of the services provided, All American is the company to call. <br />"

"The initial meeting was great, the owner showed up on time, fully explained all that would be completed in detail. Within 2 days we had a written contract and were scheduled. They showed up as scheduled with a full crew and installed our walkway beautifully. We are very pleased with the product, the professional install and manners of the company. Now for the down side. We were left with numerous gouges in our lawn and the cobble stones that were slid toward our foundation were not spread back out to the walkway. The gouges and ruts left by their equipment required us to hire our own landscapers to repair and reseed. They left quite a mess of a well maintained property, and never even laced New seed or attempt to repair damage they created. We love our new paving project, but feel they could have repaired what they tore up. We fully understand that construction projects will create some disruption, but feel this was excess and there was no offer to repair it. We would call on them again, but cautiously on how much damage."

"I found this guy by stopping him in the street when he was working on somebody else's yard.  Kind of risky, but I found a diamond.   Jarrett and his team do an excellent job at a fair price.  Jarrett's professionalism is without flaw.  He communicates with me regularly so I can then inform my tenants when he will be there.  He shows up when scheduled.  If there is a problem, he corrects it immediately.  I can tell he takes pride in his business, and I am impressed.  I noticed his one review on Angie's List was negative, but I also noticed he responded to it by taking full responsibility and doing what he could to correct the problem."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in New-Baltimore, NY

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
