"Matt Hartman is a “Magician with a brush” (and a trowel)! He just finished re-plastering and painting three floors of our 120 year old brownstone townhouse. The place looks fabulous and he completed the work on time, on budget and was minimally disruptive. He never made a mess even though he did extensive plaster work. He even came back to do touch-ups when a mover and a carpet layer damaged his work. This isn't the first time we've used Matthew. Several years ago a leaking shower caused significant damage to our parlor floor ceiling including plaster molding. He restored the ceiling and decorative molding completely On top of everything else, he's a really nice guy! I can't recommend him highly enough."

"Pros: -squeezed us in right before holidays on a short timeline -color matched specific colors they didn't carry for us -at first quick glance paint job looked good Cons: -sloppy: paint on metal window frame, on wood floor, on doorknobs, and 1 large spot on bedroom beam that didn't get a second coat (photo) and is quite noticeable, door that has clumps of paint on corner (photo) -white paint coated inside of our sinks and down drains (not cleaned out when done at all- photos) -after we paid, any attempt to get these issues fixed went ignored- no response So, if you're particular, don't go with them. I was hopeful that they'd honor the contract and come back to fix our bigger issues but my email with photos of areas went ignored."

"Not up to par with building code. I had to address because they painted over newly installed walls without sanding properly. I am currently repainting walls because I can still see primer and paint is different shades. I'm also in the process of removing paint off tiles do to tiles being painted while trim was being painted. Won't hire again. Bring personal issues to work. Won't be hiring again."
