"I needed 3 basement windows replaced. I called a number of companies but no one wanted to come out for 3 small basement windows. I got Markey from the Clipper magazine. I called the company and they said they would be happy to come out and give me an estimate. I then went online and checked them out. I could not find a bad thing about them. The rep came on time, showed me a sample, explained how they worked and gave me a price. The price was better than I expected. I gave him the order there and then. The installers came about 4 weeks later and installed all 3 windows in about an hour and a half. Very nice job. One thing I really liked about Markey was that all his installers were employees and not subcontractors. I will need a new roof in couple of years, if his price is good I will definitely use him"

"Great workmanship! Very knowledgeable about installing a wide plank pine floor in our weekend home. Had the right tools for the job. Was willing to answer questions about the process and was willing to make suggestions for a better look and install. John was friendly and efficient -- taking care of business in short order. Replacing the light fixtures by our front door was a little tricky re: the cedar siding, but he effortlessly adapted the installation to the situation. Perfect! The old wooden post mailbox was rotted and barely standing...he took it all away, dug a deep new hole and installed the steel post, using quick setting concrete, and fitted the new mailbox. He even scalped some sod to leave on top... When John was finished, you would have thought the mailbox had always been there. I plan on calling on Mr. Handyman, and John, in the future."

"Jim Faris quoted to replace our 30-year-old wood porch deck and railing with composite material. The price seems a bit high but we were ready for a change. His crew were excellent; they remove the old deck boards, installed the new material, minimized waste, and left us with a beautiful deck with excellent fit and finish. The job took a bit longer than expected due to weather and a couple miscalculations but he stuck to the price. Faris also pointed out a gutter and a gable issue with the home which his crew also repaired at a nominal additional cost."
