"<p><strong>GARCIA'S GARDENING SERVICES INC.</strong></p> <p><strong>Owner:  Martin Garcia</strong></p> <p>1850 N Madera Ave<br /> <br /> Ontario, CA 91764</p> <p>(909) 772-5908<br /> <br /> garciasgardeningservices.com</p> <p>Pros:  Great Work Ethic, Commitment to Quality Work, Fair and Competitive Price, Wonderful Results.</p> <p>Cons:  None.</p> <p><strong>Basis for My Evaluation</strong>:  My review is based entirely upon (1) my personal observations of the work performed by Mr. Garcia and his team and (2) my personal interactions with Mr. Garcia and his team. </p> <p>This is the first online review that I have ever written and posted on any website, but I felt moved to do so because of the superior service that we received from Mr. Martin Garcia and his team.</p> <p><strong>Overview and Timeline of Events:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Services Needed</strong>:  My husband and I were in desperate need of lawn-care services (for example, one-time yard clean-up including removal of overgrown weeds, tree-trimming, raking and disposal of leaves and other debris, etc.).  </p> <br /> <br /></li> <li> <p>I logged on to the website, Angie?s list and read numerous customer reviews about lawn care companies posted by other members.  Based upon the reviews I read and the assigned ratings, I contacted several lawn care companies, one of which was Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc., owned and operated by Mr. Martin Garcia.  To my surprise, several of the other companies that I contacted (and left voicemail messages) either (1) did not return my call or (2) did not return my call promptly, contacting me four to seven days after leaving a message with my request.  However, to complete the research process, I met with and obtained estimates from other lawn care companies.<br /> <br /><br /> <br /></p> </li> <li> <p>On Monday, August 10, 2015, I contacted Mr. Martin Garcia (Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc.) to describe our needs /the work we were requesting.  During our initial call, we scheduled a mutually convenient time for Mr. Garcia to come to our home and evaluate our yard.   The yard evaluation was scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM.  I also asked Mr. Garcia to provide proof of insurance at the time of our home visit / yard evaluation.<br /> <br /><br /> <br /></p> </li> <li> <p>On Saturday, August 15, 2015, Mr. Martin Garcia was very punctual and arrived at our home on time and immediately provided me with proof of insurance coverage, as I requested.  He walked our entire yard (front, back and sides), took notes and later provided us with an estimate for his services.<br /> <br /></p> </li> <li> <p><br /></p> </li> <li> <p>Based upon our research, Mr. Garcia?s estimate was extremely fair and competitive based upon the size of our yard, the amount of work to be performed and quotes obtained from other lawn care companies.<br /> <br /></p> </li> <li> <p><br /></p> </li> <li> <p>After meeting with Mr. Garcia, we hired Mr. Garcia (Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc.) to perform the services and scheduled the work for Monday, August 17, 2015.<br /> <br /></p> </li> <li> <p><br /></p> </li> <li> <p>On Monday, August 17, 2015, Mr. Garcia and his team arrived at our home by 9:00 am and began work on our yard.  What I found particularly refreshing was the fact that the owner, Mr. Garcia, not only directed the work of his staff, but he also rolled up his sleeves and performed work alongside his team.  Mr. Garcia and each of his team members displayed a wonderful work ethic.  They worked tirelessly to complete the work we hired them to complete. Mr. Garcia demonstrated his commitment to quality work by asking if we were happy with the work performed prior to accepting payment for his services.  Mr. Garcia and his team took pride in their work and in today?s marketplace, that?s a wonderfully rare find?sadly, I just don?t see/experience that as often as I used to.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong><br /> <br /></strong></p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>:  Overall, my experience with Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc. was an extremely positive experience.    Based upon the initial work performed on our yard and the wonderful results, I have hired Mr. Garcia and his team to perform ongoing yard maintenance to ensure that our yard does not revert back to its previous state.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Thanks for Reading,</p> Sharon <br />"

"Jay runs an excellent company in Janus. No one wants to see a rat diving under their house as I did the other night. I immediately logged onto Angie's List and began researching options for rodent/pest control. I was very impressed with Janus' website which reflected their knowledge of what their business is and their experience in the industry. I knew that I wanted to go with a local owner-operated company for this project due to the sensitive nature, I did not want to be on hold if something went awry. <br /> Jay came out the very next day to do an inspection and provide me a quote. He was punctual, professional, and friendly.We worked out a fair deal and he went right to work setting up traps. <br /> Within the first week Jay has come back to my house twice to collect the rats that have been caught and reset the traps. He's done it usually within a few hours of me calling, and even though I signed up for weekly visits he has not made one issue of coming back whenever a rodent has been caught.  <br /> No one wants a rodent or pest problem, but when you have one I am sure we all want to work with a vendor that understands how important it is for you and your family to sleep in peace. Jay and Janus are effective, responsive, and more than fair to work with. I highly recommend Janus Pest Management without reservation! <br />"

"Brad the estimator was pleasant, quick and businesslike.  We received another estimate for $5,000 (from artistic non-ISA-arborist) and a 3rd estimate for $2,150 (from non-ISA tree service).  We chose CA Arbor Care for 3 reasons: because Michael Parker, the owner, has 2 ISA arborist certifications; because Brad was certain they would use a bucket truck and the access road behind our house, and because their website was informative & intelligent. <br /> On the day of service, the tree cutters (all licensed and fully trained, BTW) had no info on the access road and they said the bucket truck was tied up on another job.  We were disappointed but gave them the go-ahead.  Good decision: the trees look beautiful and balanced.  The workers are true experts, climbed the trees with ropes, and lowered the larger/medium sized branches via ropes.  They did eventually get their chipper on the access road to reduce their effort in removing branches & to avoid the need to drag heavy wood through the backyard & around the side of the house. <br /> I**** I'd like to give them the "Page of Happiness"  award.  Did that go away from Angie's List? <br />"

"The technician showed up on time and got to work immediately. As far as I can tell, having never hired out for this type of work before, he seemed to be competent and covered the house thoroughly. Moreover, during the initial fact-gathering stage, the service rep on the phone was very helpful and patient answering all the questions I had and the concerns I raised. He finished promptly and charged me the price that had earlier been quoted. <br />"

"The job was fantastic! It was a big job, they had many people working on it, and it was done on time. All of the sprinklers work perfectly and now we just need to hire her again to turn the soil, add some topsoil, and plant seed. Her prices are very reasonable. I have referred her to other people already, and even placed their sign on my front fence (which is something I almost never do)."
