"Straight-line is an excellent painting contractor. They are very meticulous and thorough and their quality of work is outstanding. They did the entire exterior of our home and it looks like a new home. The exterior wood trim was in poor condition and they did the needed sanding and other preparation prior to applying several coats. They also did some very custom painting on 6 outdoor pillar lamps with which we are very satisfied. We also had them do some interior painting and they were albe to match all of the needed colors and provided excellent input on the finish that would be best for the various surfaces. "We had both the exterior and the interior kitchen cabinets painted. I have only good things to say about the experience. The prep work on both projects was thorough. Jorge did the painting on the outside and was very personable, attentive, and quick. There or no spots when he finished. Jonathan and Angel painted the cabinets. It was a 4 1/2 day project. Both were very experienced knowledgeable through and responsive this project like the other one came out beautifully. We definitely recommend the painting company. "While house-sitting at a friends house that was just re-painted, I couldn’t help but look at the painting work that had just been done. The level of detail was incredible. The edges were sharp, crisp and straight. I was very impressed. She ended up giving me the number of Bob (The King of the Painters) Lyon. Bob came out and looked over my house. There was a lot of termite damage, the side garage door needed to be replaced and dry rot was prevalent throughout. Fascia, eaves and large beams were in bad shape. All had peeling paint. Bob has an amazing eye for colors. We settled on the color scheme and Bob even picked out the fabric we chose for the awning we had installed out front. After settling on a price (which was VERY reasonable) we set up the date for work to begin. On the day the crew arrived, the project manager (Mike) introduced me to his crew. Dennis Iloff, Jr. Lopez, Alvin Hernandez and last (but certainly not least) Ricardo “Rickey” Duenas. While Mike was tending to other jobs, Ricardo was my point man. He asked all the right questions, always informed me of what the tasks of the day were going to be and answered all my questions with a smile. This crew was thorough and they all seemed to be having fun while working very hard. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Bob Lyon is probably the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and his employees show it too. Give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed."

"Very happy that we went with Approved Contractor for our first major home project. We got quotes from several other companies and none were nearly as helpful or professional. Our windows were installed quickly and they look fantastic. Our one issue was that wood frame edges around the windows weren't fully sanded down for painting after installation.
