Plaster - Repair

Serving Pinto, MD and surrounding areas

In business since 2006

"Dion Peeler was very professional. He contacted me right away and explained step by step what needed to be repaired to ensure my porch was not only repaired but to also make sure it was safe again. He arrived promptly to review the problems and scheduled a date and time to complete the repairs within my specified time frame. He's even offered to return in a couple of weeks to double check the storm door is closing correctly and to see if he needs to readjust the hydrolics. I'm so grateful he came and fixed my door and porch! I would highly recommend him to anyone!"

FAQs for plaster repair projects in Pinto, MD

Yes, crumbling plaster poses a safety hazard. Crumbling plaster overhead can drop heavy pieces that injure anyone below. The risk increases if the material contains older additives, such as asbestos or lead-based paint, which can become airborne when the surface is disturbed. Have a qualified pro test and repair deteriorating areas quickly to keep your family—and pets—safe.

Ceiling plaster repairs require a lighter touch than wall repairs. Plaster repair professionals apply thinner coats of plaster to ceilings to reduce weight and smooth the surface, which helps prevent future sagging. Wall repairs can handle extra texture and additional layers without risking structural strain. A plaster repair pro will have the expertise to determine the best technique for your problem area.
