"Most of the long time employees of the Green Country Lawn branch office in Bossier City, La. (main office is in Angola, Indiana) apparently quit in January of 2020 to open an independent, local lawn care business. When I learned most of the experienced employees were gone, I decided to cancel my service and request a refund of the 2020 fees I had just paid in advance to take advantage of a 5% discount offer (what a mistake that was). Over the next three months, I talked several times to three different company employees, including one at the corporate office, who all promised my service was cancelled in the computer and my refund was in process and would be made by several different dates they gave me. They did stop my service, but needless to say, I have never been reimbursed. I cannot speak to whether all the new employees they have since hired are experienced and knowledgeable about the lawn chemical business. I can speak to the way their three different employees mislead me as to my refund. Based on my experience, I would caution any current or potential future customers of this company to not pay them in advance for any work not yet satisfactorily completed."
