Small jobs welcome

"I highly recommend this moving company. They were all so professional and true from begging to end. Aaron was patient with all of my questions. He has exhalent customer service and phone etiquette. He was appropriate with his initial quote with no surprises at the end of the move. I can’t say enough good things about Hector and Richard. The two of them are so very kind, respectful, fast, efficient, funny, and helpful. They didn’t play around when it came to my move even though they had a flight of stairs to take stuff down to the truck, and then they had 3 more flights of stairs to move the stuff into the new place. They handled the stairs with a great attitude, efficiency, and just like the champs they are. To my surprise, nothing was damaged! Thanks Redefyne Moving & Storage for the laughter and positive attitude as it helped to keep my stress level down and my move enjoyable."

"The two guys loaded furniture (inc. wrapping) and 50+ boxes from a very ‘full’ 1 bedroom apartment, drove 1 mile away, and then unloaded everything into a 2 bedroom condo – all within 4 hours! They were fast, efficient, and careful with everything. They showed up on time, asked questions regarding my preferences, including where furniture & boxes should go in the new place. I am very, very satisfied with the excellent service."

"Where do I begin: it was a nightmare from beginning to end. I paid for a full package service to transport ~700 sqft of furniture from Austin to SF. The day of the move, I called RM to get a more accurate time for when the movers would be coming. The guy told me he couldn't contact the movers to give me a more accurate moving window. When they finally got to my place they took roughly 10 hours to pack my stuff. That's not hyperbole, they got to my place around 12 and I didn't leave until after 10pm. Slowest packers I've ever encountered and when I told customer service, Emily, about they she gave me some BS about how they wanted everything to be packed just right. Well, when my stuff got delivered in SF, I had multiple pieces of broken furniture, including a desk with a broken leg that someone put a nail through in an attempt to "fix it". Not only that, the movers refused to fully put together a bed with railing for storage that I had. They were confused and basically said the packer"

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Portland, OR

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
