"The company representative answering the phone was couteous and professional. We made arrangement for the sales representative to come out a few days later. Due to a mix-up in scheduling, the sales representative did not arrive at the appointed time but the problem was quickly remedied, with my meeting with him on the same date. Fortunate for me I am retired so this was not a problem for me. He arrived promptly for the next agreed upon time and was very professional. My initial call was to get the elm trimmed but as he walked through my yard, he spied an insect problem with my redbud; a problem that I knew I had but had not taken the time to have it properly analyzed. He assessed the health of the elm and recommended a course of treatment for the bugs that were invading the tree with Dutch Elm disease and the trimming. The estimate, provided separately for the trimming, fertilizing and insecticide, was reasonable and I agreed to have all of the recommended work done. I was advised that it would be the following week before the trimming would be done. A few days later, the person performing the fertilizing and insecticide arrived. He was courteous and professional. The trimming crew arrived the following week (today) with their bucket truck (which I perfer to mimimize the problem of having someone injured on my property while climbing the tree) and a trash removal truck. Similarly, this crew was courteous, professional and did a good job with the clean-up. I think the rate was reasonable for the heavy duty equipment and the crew of 4 used to perform this operation. I expect to have Arbor Masters out again next spring to continue the fertilizing program for both trees."

"The lawn care service was wonderful. Our lawn looks much better than when we were managing it on our own. The lawn care providers who came out were all very gracious and knowledgeable. My frustration with TruGreen came from dealing with them around billing issues. On more than one occasion, I thought a matter resolved, just to have to call back and go through the full explanation again. At one point, I had halted service, telling them I would not continue with their service until the billing current billing issues were resolved ... and someone came out to my house just a few days later. Since they frequently provide service even when residents aren't home, I was billed for THAT service, until I initiated ANOTHER dispute. ....The lawn care service itself has been quite good, so we have continued with the company while we watch to see if the billing issues resolve."

"The crew showed up on time. The work was performed from the street using a cherry picker, without putting heavy equipment on our driveway or property, as we requested. In addition to removing the overhanging trunk over our driveway and minor branches, the tree was sprayed to help prevent disease entry following the trimming, and fertilizer was injected around the trees. We had a coupon and were able to get a 20% discount which is reflected in the pricing shown. We are very satified with the work and the trees seem to be doing well since the trimming. We feel better after having the overhanging trunk removed. <br />"

Once here, he and his crew inspected and fixed our system.  We had a handful of broken things, which they fixed.  We had some broken equipment over what was allowed in the tune-up, so we of course had to pay a bit extra for that, but the price was very reasonable and we were thrilled to get it all taken care of so quickly.  He even programmed our system to be compliant with local water restrictions, which we really appreciated since we were totally new to the area.  He also noticed a fungus on our roses and gave us some free advice on how to take care of it - saving us a ton of hassle (we just thought they were thirsty, lol).  All in all, they really went above and beyond, and we are happy to have found Shades of Green.  We?d recommend them highly to anybody, and will definitely be using them again! <br />"
