"Mike did a great job on all my repairs, He was punctual and courteous and even picked up the pet door from Home Depot for me. He was very careful prior to installing the pet door - he checked out the garage wall, measured carefully and realized that there were pipes and wiring in that section of the wall. We installed the pet door elsewhere. His prices were reasonable and I will definitely use him again! <br />"

"The first project was electrical socket and breaker box work to replace faulty job from a different contractor. Second was to replace and rebuild bathroom floors, shower plumbing, and tile work. Third was to install wood flooring in kitchen, laundry, and front door areas. Lastly was to paint walls in bedrooms and kitchen. Following the painting, was to replace four windows due to rot. His quality of work was very professional, and all jobs are done in a quality manner that I am truly pleased with. I would recommend him highly to all friends and coworkers. <br />"

"We were putting our house on the market after having renters for a few years and needed it to be show ready. We found this contractor here on Angie's list and he had great reviews.  Mr. Quiocho came out and we told him what we thought was a necessity and asked him to take a look and see if he had any suggestions as well.  He didn't try and get us to completely redo the entire house.  He gave us a list of what things (small or big) that he noticed had been damaged or worn from our tenants and what he recommended to get the house ready for sale.  He was extremely fair in his suggestions and even when we said some things that we wanted to do were out of our budget, he looked around for different materials that would help lower our costs.  He finished up the work fairly quickly especially since this was all during the holiday season and even directed us to a real estate agent. After we put our house on the market and received/accepted an offer, our inspection required us to do a few more things. So we called him back out and in a matter of days he had the list completed that we needed for our inspection. If I lived in the area I would be telling every neighbor i had to hire him.  I am very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him if you are needing anything done around the house."

"Jesus was great.  Showed up on time for our appointment, looked the job over and gave me a bid on the spot.  I told him that I wasn't going to take other bids, that he was my guy. <br /> He and one other man showed up the next day to pressure wash the house and, after the weekend, the crew came along to start the job. <br /> All the crew were great people, very upbeat and efficient, went about their jobs quickly. <br /> In two or three days (I forget now) the job was done and looked wonderful.  Jesus walked me around to make sure I had seen all they did and was pleased with the job. <br /> There wasn't so much as a scrap of tape left after they departed, they had cleaned up completely. <br /> I would certainly recommend Jesus and his people to anyone.  He was great to work with and I'm going to have them back in the spring to do some more work for me."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Richgrove, CA

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
