The initial contact with Michael Sheehan was very pleasant as well as informative. He helped us choose the best roof to meet our requirements and provided us with a written proposal outlining the work to be performed, warranty features, and total cost. We chose Acorn to do our job based on the following factors: we judged their proposal to be our best value considering cost, quality and warranty; Acorn has credentials as both a GAF Master Elite contractor and an Owens Corning Preferred contractor; they could schedule us before the onset of hurricane season; they have received numerous positive online reviews; and Michael was responsive and easy to work with. Whenever we called Acorn’s office, Mary was there to pick up the phone. Mary is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough. Any questions or requests that we had were addressed promptly and effectively. The crew worked very diligently and efficiently, completing the job within the projected two-day timeframe. Ron, the head crew chief overseeing the work, was present the entire time. The cleanup was quite well done, and both the dumpster and residual material were removed in less than one hour after the crew had finished. "Thanks Mike and crew for my new roof and deck. After a hot week , my flat twenty year old roof developed some major leaks. Mike (Owner) was able to come out quickly and access the situation and come up with a very comprehensive plan that made sense for my situation. His quotes are very detailed and covered every question / concern I could think of. When you first meet Mike,you get a sense very quickly that he takes great pride in his work; he knows what he's talking about and is happy to address all questions and concerns. Texting or Emailing Mike was always met with a very timely response. Mike was able to get me on his schedule quickly and his very professional and knowledgeable crew (Thanks Edgar) were out and stripping off the old roof in no time; a far superior roofing system that should last for twenty years and was very competitively priced was installed. His Crew were also very on top of their game; they were always available to answer questions and go over the steps of the roofing process. My flat roof also had an existing deck that needed work and had to be dismantled for the new roof to be installed and I had a second area where I wanted a new deck built. After seeing my "Gold Star" roof completed, I was concerned about another contractor coming out and damaging the roof to install a new deck; there is a very exact way to install decks on flat roofs without puncturing them. I asked Mike to remove and reinstall the old deck and build a second deck on the opposite side of the roof. Once again, Mike and Crew came through with my amazing new Trex Decks; couldn't be happier with the high quality of work balanced with very competitive pricing.
