"Misleading Sod Installation by Green Apes Solutions We hired Green Apes Solutions, owned by Jerry, to install St. Augustine sod in our front and side yards, extending to the back of our pool. Initially, Jerry seemed knowledgeable and smooth in his communication, calling me during the installation to suggest reallocating some sod to the backyard, claiming the existing St. Augustine near the street would fill in naturally with our new sprinkler system. Trusting his expertise, I agreed. Upon seeing the finished work, I was shocked to find that at least 40 feet from the street on both sides of the driveway was left untouched, with weeds and crabgrass instead of the St. Augustine I expected. Two professional lawn service's confirmed my suspicion, what I was left with was not quality turf. The job was short over 1,800 square feet of sod. Jerry inspected the situation and promised a solution via text the following week?but I never received one. He has since ignored texts and phone calls."
