"Called ABC for help as we had either an exterior GFCI plug that had died or a tankless water heater problem tripping the GFCI plug or both. Naturally it happened on a weekend! ABC dispatched the next available on-call plumber to evaluate the problem. The plumber determined that the tankless WH was fine and could not get the GFCI to respond. So an extension cord to another outlet kept the WH going until the electrician was available. When the electrician arrived on Monday morning, the GFCI tested as dead while the power to it was good. So a new GFCI was installed and we were back on line with our tankless WH."
