"CertaPro came and did a bid on painting my southern wall last summer. I almost chose them but picked the lowest bid instead. Bad mistake! The lowest bidder (Innovation Painting) totally flaked out on me and kept pushing the job back and eventually just stopped taking my calls. I should have called CertaPro back right away, but it was winter and raining so I let things slide until this summer. I emailed my contact at CertaPro and asked if he wanted to do a re-bid on the job. I also contacted another painter. I didn't hear from my CertaPro contact and figured he didn't want to waste any more of his time with me, and signed a contract with another company. But I was wrong. It turned out that my contact no longer worked with the company, and his emails were being forwarded to the bosses, Steve and Norie Bonbright, who did answer my email and would have been happy to do a re-bid. But it was too late. I had already signed a contract with the other company. Through no fault of their own, CertaPro didn't get the job. But through it all they were polite, professional, and helpful. They even gave me tips on getting the most attractive finish on the job. My house is big, and eventually I'm going to need to paint the other three walls. When I do, CertaPro will be the first company I call."

It was hard for me to find a painter who would take on this relatively small job. Previous businesses I contacted even through Angies List either weren't interested in the size of the job or wanted to paint the garage door rather than stain it. Detail Pro Painting understood what I wanted and made it happen. Their attention to detail for both the prep work as well as the actual staining were quite superb. They power washed, bleached, sanded where needed and masked off the adjoining areas very meticulously. There was no "overspray" or bleed when they were done. I am really very happy with the job they did. Manny the owner communicated well and understood what I desired. I believe that this company takes pride in their quality and does not charge extra for it!"

"Robert is amazing. I decided to paint my house last year, and got three estimates. Robert's estimate emphasized the amount of preparation work that he'd do to make the paint last, which was particularly attractive to me because my over-100 year old house still has original redwood siding! I gave Robert some general guidance on colors (I like blue!) and he proposed a color scheme that many of my neighbors have complimented, most amusingly, two young boys who decided Robert's color scheme was "awesome." As part of the prep process, Robert found some dry rot, and he repaired much of it. The parts that couldn't be repaired, he recommended an excellent contractor who did a fabulous job re-skinning a corner of the house to look as good as new. Robert won't be the cheapest bid, but you'll love the way your house looks when he's done."
