"Ozzie was very prompt in contacting us and setting up a meeting the day after contacting him. He was very helpful in helping pick out a color scheme but left the final decision up to my wife. The job was started within a week and completed within a week and a half. He met the deadline we gave him, after starting the job, due to unplanned company coming. We had one painter at all times who spoke English, important as I do not speak Spanish. They will move all furniture and replace it as well as wall hangings. We did a lot of this ourselves by choice. They pressure washed the house first then patched cracks in the stucco then sprayed on 2 coats of paint. They patched the drywall where we had had 2 water leaks and did a close match on the texture. They do not require any money before the job is completed to your satisfaction and guarantee their work. A week after completion now and we are very satisfied"

"Beginning with his initial visit to make a bid, I was struck by the painter's, Mario Torres, professionalism.  Also he was not afraid to recommend two coats and an elastomeric coating even though this would result in a higher bid than provided by some others. <br /> The job itself went very well. The entire crew was experienced, kept things clean, and there was no goofing off. They kept me advised of the time they would be arriving each day and they were punctual. <br /> Although it was not part of the written contract, they willingly painted highlight colors on a few items: strap hinges on gates, light fixtures. There was no extra charge. <br /> The crew was polite & courteous, and we were very pleased with the final appearance of the house. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I saw the work Braulio and his team did while remodeling my neighbors house and was really impressed. So I hired him to paint my house. He gave me a detailed estimate. I did get 2 others that were lower, but I was willing to pay the difference for the quaility of work I saw him do on the neighbors house. Braulio showed up on time. He washed down the entire house. He repaired the stucco around the entire house. He painted the exterior of the house and did such a good job I had him paint the block wall fence also. He was great at communicating when he was leaving and when to expect him to return. He always seemed to have a work agenda and was alway on time. He and the people who worked with him were all professional. There was no loud music, drinking, or smoking ever while on the job. Braulio did most of the work himself. Several times he brought his son to work with him. They cleaned up every evening before leaving and he even washed the windows before he leaving. The house looks better than it did new. I am so happy with the results, I wish I had done it sooner."

"We have a 3-section modular home about 11 years old and a stick-built work shop.  House is rubber stucco-like finish while workshop is actual stucco.  House had numerous cracks where modular sections joined and around windows. The shop had several cracks needing repair in the stucco.  In addition, the kitchen counter and sink area needed grouting repaired around the sink and the counter tiles. <br /> Michael gave us a price for crack sealing and painting.  We added the kitchen counter repairs and sealing the area between the screen room roof and the house as the job progressed.   <br /> We agreed on the original price and set a starting date for the work.  He was unable to meet the starting date due to inclement weather, but as soon as the rain and wind stopped he and a helper started the work.  They did a nice job sealing all the cracks in both buildings and the area where the screen room met the house.  This area had leaked tons of water in every rain since we had the screen room built.  He took pictures of the joint and showed us where the builder had not even tried to seal area.  He did an excellent job of getting sealant down into the joint and smoothing it between the roof and the house wall.  This area no longer leaks in the rain!  (Good job, Michael!) <br /> He applied the paint using a spray system.  He was careful to mask off areas which should not be painted and did, what I believe to be, a nice, workman-like paint job.   <br /> The paint job looks nice, the crack sealing is evident as a different texture between the rough rubber stuccoplex and the smoother sealant, but that is to be expected.   <br /> The additional cost he wanted to the additional work - grouting and painting the storage shed - was less than $100 and quite within my expectations.   <br /> In all, I am very pleased with his work and would recommend him to friends."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in San Luis, AZ

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
