"John at Innovative Irrigation is the best you could ask for from an irrigation professional. John and his team installed my irrigation system four years ago, in 2014, allowing me to transform my lawn from a sandy patch of weeds to a lush green lawn. It's transformed my property. John listens. During the quote process, I had mentioned some backbreaking work I had just completed. A month or two later, when it came time to install, John mentioned to the crew "Make sure you're careful here putting in the box that no dirt gets in this area, he just finished redoing it." I hadn't made a big deal of it, I didn't even know I'd mentioned it, but John listened and remembered. John is knowledgeable. He's an expert on his products. He explained the pros and cons of different sprinkler head configurations, and even helped me set up a custom watering system for my raised bed gardens. Other contractors weren't as creative or knowledgeable. John is honest. An issue came up during the install that was outside of his control (unmarked line that utility missed), and the cost of it likely erased any profit he had on the job. He handled it professionally and without any anger, dealing directly with the utility to handle everything. John is responsive. If I have a question and reach out to him, I've got an answer within a day. He cares about his customers and making sure that their systems work properly. John has a great crew. Obviously a company's owner can't do an entire irrigation install himself or herself. John was on-site on the install day, and the crew did a great job of executing on the install. You owe it to yourself and to your project to give John a chance to quote out your irrigation project. If you're on the fence about installing a system or not, bite the bullet and get it done. Lawn and garden maintenance is very easy when it's getting the water plants need."

"I started by putting out requests for bids with a number of area landscapers. In spite of being one of the later requests I put out, they were actually the first to respond and he was able to make it out to look over the project the next day. His price was better than what other contractors were offering as well and he was very accommodating as he could tell I was trying to keep my costs down. <br /> Due to the weather the project faced a few delays, but as soon as it dried out enough they went right to work. Took only a few days before the shed and driveway were gone and the yard went from a cratered mess to a nice graded expanse. Knowing that I was trying to trim costs he was able to arrange for someone to take the shed to avoid the need (and costs) of a dumpster. Since I had planned to seed it myself to save on costs as well he provided me with information on what seeds to buy for the soil type and fertilizer types. <br /> Working with Lawn by the Yard was a great experience and I certainly would recommend their services if someone I knew were looking. <br />"

"Best company I have ever worked with! Everyone there is great.  Working with Suzette she planned out the garden perfectly. You receive very detail quotes with everything spelled out. No surprises. I can't say enough good things about the crew who did my patio. I was trying to get it in and done for my sons graduation party.  Well the weather was not working with us.  It was a year ago when it snowed on May 5th 2013.  The frost was not out of the ground yet so are time was getting short.  They worked long hours and one came on the weekend to get this done. They knew how important it was to me and they did everything they possibly could to make this happen. And they did!  They even went above and beyond we were to use black dirt and seed around the yard by the patio and other places that were tore up during contraction. Well we did not have time for that because of the late start due to weather. So they brought in rolls of sod and put it down knowing I could not have a bunch of balck dirt around for the big day. "<p>I am REALLY pleased with these people!  We started toward the middle of the year last year and saw such improvement in our lawn that when it came to signing up for this year it was a 'no brainer' for us.  Our house, lawn and gardens cover about an acre.  In the past I had been doing weed control and fertilization my self ... I have degrees in plant science and agricultural engineering and have ALL the equipment.  Let's face it, these people do a better job than I could do, with better materials than I have access to and they do it in a timely and systematic manner.  Our lawn has NEVER looked better, the weeds are under control at last (even the ground ivy, aka creeping Charlie, and the wild violets) and we have moved from having grass to having TURF.  It's fabulous!  And I know it's just going to keep getting better!</p> <p>We get advance notice via email prior to a visit so I can have the yard clear and be ready for them.  Jeremy came last time and paid me the compliment of saying the lawn looked very healthy and I was mowing it properly.  It would not be where it is if not for Lawn Green's efforts.</p> <p>I highly recommend Lawn Green and I know you could do a lot worse and you DON'T want that ....
