"Hauling Moses is an exceptional moving company that doesn't keep any secrets from you and goes out of its way from start to finish to make sure your move goes smoothly. This is drastically different from every other bay area mover I have worked with so far. No sketchiness, total kindness, and care from start to finish. To start, they send out an appraiser to visit your space. They calculate the amount of time they think your move will take, and then an absolute maximum. Before the move even starts, you know the max price that you will pay, regardless of what occurs. Next, the awesome logistics team coordinates with you. They are professional and responsive. I needed proof of insurance, and had several questions about the move. All of this was put to rest within 24 hours of tentatively scheduling. Two days before the move, one of their logistics coordinators called me to ensure we were ready, and to be available for any further questions. Tell me your moving company offered this much prep work, free of charge. On the day of the move, the team called and let us know when they would arrive. They were incredibly careful, both with our building, and our furniture. They were not the fastest movers I've ever had, and this is a good thing. Other movers break and scratch so many things from rushed carelessness. Everything was wrapped according to my specifications, with them asking specifically what I would and would not like wrapped as we went. They packed the truck, and then our storage unit like champions! There were more than 10 squared feet left in the unit thanks to how they packed it. The movers were courteous, kind, and funny, and made a usually stressful process an easier one. We paid more than one thousand dollars less than our estimated maximum, taking much fewer hours and supplies even with all the careful work the team did before moving our items. If you need movers that you can trust, I don't think you can get any better than Hauling Moses."

"Moving is a difficult, often stressful time, and I was so pleased with the movers and  this moving company!    I will definitely use them again, and based on my experience am happy to recommend them to friends and colleagues. <br /> Making the arrangements for the move by phone was quick and easy.  They quoted me very accurately for the move, which i appreciated - no last-minute unexpected higher costs at all. <br /> The movers arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time.   i was grateful they agreed to 9 am and not their 8:30 am usual time, so i had a little more time for morning preparations. <br /> The movers were friendly, but also very professional and knowledgeable about the move.  They were the ideal combination of unobtrusive, but offered advice and reassurance when needed.   They were also extremely fast and efficient - much quicker than i anticipated, and had I been better prepared and had fewer personal items, the move would not have taken 4 hours.  <br /> We had expected to have to hoist my sofa from the 3rd floor windows to the ground.   This would have been $100 extra, which i agreed upon during the booking process.   The movers determined onsite that they could move the sofa down the stairwell and not charge me the $100, which i also appreciated. <br /> At the new place they checked with  me on where i wanted each furniture item, so they could set it up for me properly the first time, and were patient about moving boxes that were better suited in a different area, or the storage unit. <br /> i was unsure how and how much to tip them, and so asked them in general what happened, and they were very gracious in how they responded, leaving it up to me, and appreciative of the cash tips received. <br />"
