"I hesitated to ever do this review because it was so long ago! But AL keeps sending me requests for review and since I think this is what we go on Angie's List for - to determine who is reliable, professional or not I decided to do this review! They were very nice people, they did a good job in cleaning out chimney and not making a mess. So I also had them do my dryer vent which exhausts up and out through a vent on my flat roof . I thought it would be simple to accomplish! However, he pulled the vent cover off.. instead of trying to find a way to unscrew or ???? and when he did so, he ripped it out of its mooring and cannot be put back on properly. and since I had foam and elastomeric roof coating this was ripped out of that coating and left a big gash of open foaming! Next time it rained... leaked into the ceiling of bedroom below this. I had stated when he was doing it... you can't pull that off there it is imbedded in the roofing! So I feel that this was not a very professional decision on his part to see this was going to be and then chose to pull that off there and thereby create the leak issue!"

"Georg Horn and his crew were amazing to work with. Kind, polite, so hard working. And they are flexible and easy to work with when I changed my mind on a couple of things I highly recommend them. 10 stars!!"

"The only positive interaction was when the scaffolding crew started their prep work. Lath crew is fast at putting up house wrap incorrectly (against code and manufacturer directions) and covering it up quickly with EPS. Lath was installed hastily, with no regard for building codes, and against owner directions. Crew rarely shows up, promises to return to fix blatant issues, and inconsistently returns to continue lath installation on other areas. The owner or site supervisor is defensive and doesn’t believe in house wrap. Poor management, false promises, and appalling workmanship is the best Eddie and Sons could provide on our project."

"Poor quality and even worse customer service. We had Alex McMillan apply an asphalt aluminum coating on our flat roof in Sept '23. A year later (after the '24 monsoons), we noticed multiple peeling of the coating. It was evident that the roof was not sufficiently power washed prior to the initial coating. So I called Alex to have them patch the peeled spots. He said they'd do it back in Nov '24 but never showed nor called. This happened again in Jan '25 and once again in Mar '25. I'M SO DONE WITH THESE GUYS!!!"

"I can highly recommend Kevin and Brilliant Epoxy Floors. From my first phone call through a number of iterations Kevin was patient; honest and answered all my questions. I decided to visit his showroom (met me on a Holiday) to see the options and the colors although his website is very clear. I decided to go with the 5 layer full chip seal, although the partial chip which was a little cheaper may have worked. In the end I was happy I did so as the finished floor looks great and has a 15 year warranty. (he has been around 22 years). He asked for no money up front! Shows his ethics! His workers showed up on time on time and did an excellent job quickly. They took pride in their work and would explain the process and answer questions. They worked neatly and cleanly. Kevin also agreed to move the heavy things out, and more importantly back for a small charge which they did. There was a freezer; workbench; filing cabinet; metal shelves and the like. I had other quotes but Kevin was by far the friendliest and others would not agree to put heavy things back so they lost any chance. He also worked around my soft water cylinder promising to repair the floor if it was ever moved. I wish I had done it years ago, but I am very happy."

"Excellent. Mannings painting is the company who we have used for several years. He has painted inside, and outside for us in previous years. We have always been pleased. This project is intense, and the painters are extremely professional: Jason, and David. On time each day, very courteous, very careful and very detailed, and they do daily clean up. Matt Manning will be pleased to hear of our review which we will be happy to share. Ginger and Dick Z."

"We can't say enough good things about Rick and his crew! We had a fairly long list of renovations we wanted done to our house - from removing built-in shelves, to replacing all of our flooring, to new countertops, to removing and putting in a new tub, and even updating our shower. Not only was he spot on with his estimate, but he started on time, finished early, and is a perfectionist in making sure every detail is perfect! One reason we picked Gaio over other contractors is he works on one job at a time - so he and his crew do not get distracted which causes delays. He and his crew were on site every week day, 8am to 5pm. I would strongly recommend him to anyone!"
