About an hour after the Brambila crew had begun the work, another companyâ s crew showed up. Through mis-communication, I had double booked the job. I acknowledged my error to both contractors, and tried to be fair with them. We agreed to let Mr Brambila complete the job, and he was paid as agreed. I also compensated the second company by paying them full price to do some other work later in the day, My only disappointment in Mr Brambilaâ s work was as follows: We have decorative rock all around the trees that were to be removed. Mr Brambila was asked, and agreed, to rake back the rock before doing the stump removal. I had to leave before the work was done. When I came home everyone was gone. I found that the crew had failed to pull back the rock before grinding. As a result, I now have a mess of rock strewn around the yard, mixed with wood chips, and with the different types of rock mixed together. It will require weeks of Manuel labor for me to separate the rock and the wood chips, and put everything back in its place. I accepted responsibility for the double booking, and everyone was paid. But it will require weeks of work for me to clean up this mess, and we have extremely hot weather ahead. Had it not been for this, Mr Brambila would have received 5 Stars for the job. I understand his anger over my mistake. But that does not justify the mess they left behind."

"I used LD Tree Care for removing a tree and trimming mistletoe from another one. They did a fine job, but broke several pots, broke a chair, and left many large branches in the yard. They asked me to send a picture of the broken chair, so I did, but they never replied. I subsequently asked them for a bid on another tree. Without even sending a bid, they replied to me that they had applied for a permit from the city. I told them not to do that. That I had not authorized that. They did not reply. They eventually send a bid that was almost twice the price of another firm. When the other firm tried to get a permit, they were informed that LD Tree Care had already applied for one, and the city would not accept a new one. This was completely unauthorized. Even if it was a mistake or misunderstanding, they could have withdrawn the application. I called them and texted them and they never responded. This is not a trustworthy company."
