"I've been using them for over 20 years. Tim who usually does my lawn is nice and quiet. He comes in and doesn't make a mess. Unlike some of these other places Tim knows what he's doing. They don't have just some college kid that comes in and waves a hose around. My neighbor had another lawn company that came. The guy was spraying a liquid with a hose and waving it all over the place. He ended up spraying part of my garden and killed everything. He killed my flowers. I called them up and complained, but basically they didn't care about my lawn because I'm not one of their customers. Valley Lawn has been really good about doing stuff and even doing extra stuff and not charging me for it. I've asked them if they could do yard cleanup and stuff, but they can't or they won't because they have riding mowers that won't fit through the gate of my fence to the backyard. I'd like to use their services this year, but I really can't afford it. I had to take an early retirement because of my health and now I'm on a fixed income."

"I pay $72 an application. They do a good job with the weeds. I don't have any weeds. The grass is always green. I'm happy with it. They call me and let me know they're coming. When they're here, they do their job. I've been using them for many years."

"He is going to be doing this on a weekly basis or as needed, depending on the weather and the growth of the lawn. He has been coming as expected, I don't have to call and remind him, he's on top of it. The job is done well, his price is fair, I plan to use his services for the entire season. <br />"

"I had to have 3 trees cut down and their stumps ground out. I called and they booked a date for a week later and that was fine, but they called me later to see if they were able come in the next day and take out the trees, because they had a schedule change. This worked out very well for me. They cut the trees to 18" in length and stacked them nicely. The yard around the removals was nicely raked up. <br /> I was told that they would be out next week to grind out the stumps, because they had the grinder at another job site. Also, they had to call Diggers Hotline to have the area marked out for the utility lines on the property. As promised, the next week Diggers Hotline came and marked out all of the utilities and the following day, Charles and the grinder was there and my stumps were removed as promised and again the removal sites were nicely raked flat and cleaned up. <br /> I had forgotten that I had another stump in the yard that I had meant to ask about. The tree had been sawed down at some time in the past, but the stump was still there. I asked if it would be too much trouble to take that one out as well, since the grinder was already there. Charles said he would, because of its size and that it would be no problem to help me out with its removal. It was also interesting to find out that Charles had an Associates Degree in Landscaping and was extremely knowledgeable when I asked him questions concerning my tree care. <br /> I was delighted with their services and will gladly call them again for my landscaping needs. In my opinion, Rangers gets an A+ rating! <br />"

"Everyone that works there is decent, professional- and they did a terrify job with my design. I did have a hiccup when they gave me an estimate- apparently the employee doing the estimate on such a big project did not even visit the site- so when the crew got there, they saw some poison ivy and also did not realize the severity of the slope. They at first tried to renege on the contract even though I put a 50% deposit, and signed a contract. I told them that I would pay for the extra cost for spraying down the poison ivy- but unfortunately they gave me the impression that the cost of that would be minimal. Afterwards, they attempted to upcharge me over 20% of the entire project- or close to $2000 for basically weed spraying for 20 minutes on two separate days. They said that they took a lot longer than expected as well- but it wasn't the poison ivy that delayed them- the root of the problem was the employee that did not accurately calculate the scope of the project- and the company wanted me to mitigate for what in their perspective was not as profitable as they wanted. I don't think it's appropriate to renege on a contractor after the client seeks bids, drops those other bids, sends a deposit, and signs a contract. Presumably, a company should survey the project before the estimate. I understand there can be unexpected things that come up- but that's for the unseen or underground- the customer shouldn't be responsible for an estimate not to their liking."

"We just moved into a new home and the backyard was a terrible mess. We had a lot of dead areas as well as a nasty weed problem. We spoke with our parents, who live in Manitowoc, and found out they had been using Lakeland for years and they had an office in Green Bay. We contacted them and after getting an estimate we decided to go for it. After the first couple of applications some of our dead spots started to spring back to life and the weeds started to disappear. After all 5 applications were applied our lawn looks fantastic! There are still a couple of dead spots, but we are sure that after the over seeding is complete we will have the lawn we have been hoping for. Lakeland has been a great company to work with and we would recommend them to anyone."
