"I want to thank Avi and his team for helping me stay within budget and fixing a terrible roof leakage. Not only that, but his team also found another area of my roof that was severely damp and needed repair with a new covering. Avi contacted me before repairing any additional findings and informed me of the issue, why it was important to repair, and the cost to fix it. I, of course, moved forward with the repair and pictures were taken to show the changes. The only reason I give them a 4 star rating is due to the confusion of being able to also clean the roof. At the beginning, I had asked for the repair of roof, a vent repair, and a cleaning of the roof (removing moss and using a powder to keep it from growing back). All of it was done including the additional repair, but the roof cleaning was not done to the expectation that was described to me. Multiple parts of the roof were missed and sadly, not all moss was removed. Because my roof is very steep, Avi made the decision to refund me a majority of the cost back for the cleaning, which I appreciated greatly. Though now I have to look for another roof cleaner. :( The rest of their work was beautiful and I truly felt like Avi cares for the work he and his team do. I mean, he even came back a few days later to show me all the changes when I requested it. If it came down to it, I would likely ask for their help again for any roof repair or complete replacement. :)"

"I highly recommend Mr. Roof to replace your roof. Paul is an expert. He evaluated our roof and provided a recommendation to us. He chose a new roof asphalt color that matched our 15 year old garage. Our house was built in 1926 and it had four previous roofs that needed removed. Those layers were a shingle roof, two asphalt tile roofs and a cedar shake roof all on a layers of strip wood. He had his team remove that four layered roof. Then he applied plywood sheathing. Then they expertly laid down asphalt shingles. The crew was clean, safe efficient and worked quietly and quickly. Mr. Roof's crew kept the yard very neat and they left the yard immaculate. We appreciated Mr. Roof's expert roof replacement job. They were able to get us scheduled during a good weather window. "Existing roof was less than 12 years old and looked good but leaked. Upon removal it was noted that the previous roofers had not installed the kitchen thru roof fan vent. The accumulated moisture had rotted the roof joists, plywood sheeting and caused black mold to grow on the ceiling insulation. This was far above the scope of work that had been expected or what the bid was based on. In reality almost all of the trusses had to be replaced on half the roof and several more on the other half. All of the plywood on the entire roof required replacing. In addition it was pointed out that the roof had never been properly vented even at initial manufacture so the roof was retrofitted to vent as it should have been in the first place. A final consideration was that the roof is considered to be a substandard pitch for most roofing products. Shingles would work but not as well as other applications. This was all presented in short order by Harry (company co-owner) while standing on the roof looking at the devastation. We quickly agreed to a plan and repair work began immediately. Harry's knowledge of roofing systems enabled him to make recommendations that exceeded my personal knowledge and allowed the project to proceed with virtually no pause. This is an important point as work began around the 1st of February and we had a period of clear weather that immediately preceded the two feet of snow that we received in the next couple of weeks. There is no doubt in my mind that if these trusses had not been replaced a good portion of the roof and snow would have ended up in the kitchen. Square Solutions quickly adapted to changed requirements and in my mind saved the house from a disaster. Because of the joists being replaced, we also replaced the gutters. Square Solutions is a one stop shopping contractor for virtually any repair. They even did some interior repair work that was a result of the scope of work being performed. The entire installation was very professional. The work crew was able to complete the venting upgrades, joist replacement and hot roof installation making the house watertight before the snow started. They did a masterful job. They worked hard and were friendly and professional. The clean-up job was slowed down by the snow but was outstanding. Harry inspected the work and made sure that all was done to his meticulous standards. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof, gutters or any other home repairs."

"I called immediately after purchasing this $149 Deal, to find out what the actual cost would be for a roof my size (significantly larger than allowed for with the deal pricing - the quoted price seemed fair) and more importantly, about the chemical make up of the product because I have stained cedar board and batten siding that would cost a small fortune to replace. It was damaged when another company used Tide (it dripped down with rain and left streaks where it had bleached - it was an expensive repair to sand and restain) so now that I learned that lesson the hard way, I want to be sure that the product is safe for the siding material. I was told it was vinegar-based, but it wouldn't do any damage. Vinegar discolors wood. I know because I use it to make wood look like old barn wood. And it kills plants. Again, I know because I use it vs. chemicals, to kill the weeds in my gravel drive. I spoke with Alan about this and he said I'd need to sign a waiver in advance for damages. OK. I called the manufacturer of my stain and the lumber yard, and they said be sure to spray the siding down before applying. Alan said I'd want to do this vs. them charging $150/hour to spray. OK. I called the office to schedule and we scheduled for a Saturday. I don't remember what happened, but they needed to reschedule, so we scheduled again, for a Saturday. Perfect. I can be home and spray water in advance. Then I got a call from Alan and he said they don't work on Saturday's. I told him that was going to require me to take time off of work. We again discussed my concerns about vinegar and he told me the product isn't really vinegar. But it is a proprietary solution and they can't divulge the make up. So I asked if they would just do a small area of the roof for the $149 I paid, as a trial. No; they will not do that. So then I asked if we could use it get windows cleaned. No; they don't do windows any more (perhaps a business name change is in order?). Then he called and said they would do a small area as a trial, to earn my business. OK, I like that attitude. They'd be out one of two days. I texted to confirm the first day and he said it would be the next. No show, no call. At this point, I gave up. We just did it ourselves with Lilly Miller Moss Out and it worked. He did follow up after and I give him credit for that, but a no show is a no show."
