"Attention to detail and prep work seemed pretty poor. The initial painting went seemingly to plan, but after they were done I noted: 1. Large bubbles all over the house 2. They didn't mask my back railing, which became covered in paint splatters 3. Didn't caulk around windows 4. Really rough job doing the trim (splotchy lines) 5. Didn't wash behind the rain barrels, then proceeded to paint over dirt. 6. Not much scraping of existing chipping paint 7. I expected the cracks in the existing siding to be less noticeable after caulking/prep work 8. Didn't mask the roof, there is now a white patch on the shingles from painting the gutters 9. Didn't move the trash can/rain barrels prior to painting, so is now pretty paint splattered. I asked if they needed to be moved too, but was told no. 10. Trampled some plants. I asked if they would be OK (I would have transplanted them!), but they are now pretty dead. This is pretty minor, but still annoying. I called them back (twice!) and they more or less fixed 1-6, but I guess I just expected a better experience."

"Hedlund Painting did an excellent job on our 100 year old craftsman house in Green Lake. Their price was reasonable and included 8 hours of carpentry for needed repairs, which was plenty. Scheduling the job was straightforward and they showed up early on the day they said they would start. The work crew was friendly and professional, and worked efficiently. At the end of each day they tidily stored their gear under a tarp in a neat pile in a corner of the yard. They estimated that the job would take two weeks, but ended up completing it in seven days, with no delays. They double coated the siding and trim and even the gutters. The final paint job looks great, with clean lines between different colors, and not a speck of paint on windows or ground. When finished they cleaned up after themselves well. The house looks great and we are entirely happy with their work. We would definitely hire them again, and recommend them without any reservation."

"The crew started with a large 2-story 1975 wood house that had been badly scrapped & painted multiple times. Mario arranged for a skilled carpenter to re-build & replace rotten wood. His crew worked tirelessly to sand, fill and paint with a white semigloss paint. White and semigloss showed every imperfection. The crew went back to re-sand and re-paint spots. They repaired the stuccoed chimney. It was a labor intense project. Today, the house looks beautiful. Mario gently listened and then executed my detailed request. Mario is professional and easy to work with."

"I found Legacy Painting through Home Advisor. After receiving three competitive bids, I decided to go with Legacy Painting. They were fantastic. Mark came out to review and job and provide an estimate. I needed my exterior garage door painted, along with my kitchen and dining room. I also needed some new trim installed around my utility room door and the kitchen floor. After accepting their bid and selecting a time, their guys came out promptly to first clean the garage door exterior, then to paint/install trim. They did an exemplary job, on-time, and on-budget. Due to rain constraints they couldn't paint the garage door on the same day, but they were out bright and early the following morning to finish the job. Dennis came out as well to inspect the job both inside and out. They did an exemplary job. When I eventually go to sell the house, I will definitely hire Legacy Painting again to re-paint the interior walls. I believe the workmen's names were Carlos, Martin, and Gabriel. They we very friendly and efficient. They were sure to protect my floors and counters, and cleaned everything up when completed.
