We offer pest control; termite treatments and warranties; mosquito, flea & tick control; WDIs (real estate inspections); lawn fertilization & weed control; TAP insulation; and wildlife solutions for homeowners and businesses in the mid-Atlantic.
"PestNow was hired to inspect our house for termites. This was required by the lender of the family buying our house. PestNow found a pile of wood leaning up against a deck column they said needed repair due to termite damage. PestNow also required the entire house be treated. There were no termites found anywhere other than the pile of wood, according to PestNow. They quoted us for over $800 to treat the house. We questioned the need and amount so they lowered it to $580. As a result of PestNow stating they found termites in the deck column, the lender of the buyers required the deck column be repaired due to termite damage. The deck repair company assessed the deck column agreeing it needed to be repaired, but not due to termites, rather moisture. I question whether PestNow found termites at all. Their unethical tactics cost us well over $1,000. Beware of PestNow."

Yesterday was the third time they didn't show for the scheduled appointment without any call. They want you to sit around ALL day waiting. We're moving on from them."

"Unsuccessful, but OK. This company doesn't do roof work or anything involving ladders for insurance reasons, so the inspection was limited. Visible parts of the house and roof were inspected, no obvious entry points were found. We had a good discussion about what the pests might be (flying squirrels, roof rats), what I should look for, and the best way to seal up access points. Plus a side discussion on mice bait and bait stations. Some areas for me to investigate up close were pointed out. I was not charged, so essentially received a free consultation which provided value to me. I'll just have to get up on the roof myself (again) and take a better look around. I would be willing to hire Pestek for work that doesn't require climbing."

Then they skipped the July service and if I hadn't called them they would have skipped the August service as well. Now we are in October and no service has been received since the August service. Trugreen appears to be a complete rip off as they only respond when I complain to their corporate office. The local office operators just say they will look into it and nothing happens."
