"Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The company initially could not locate our booking when we called to confirm. We were scheduled for a morning move, then moved to the afternoon. On moving day, we received a 7am call saying they?d arrive at 10am. After rearranging our day, we were told at 9am that was a mistake and arrival would be 2?4pm instead. Communication was inconsistent. Corporate told us the Tucson truck was 35 minutes away, but the driver later said he was still at another job. The operations manager was argumentative regarding a previously discussed $100 discount and lacked professionalism. Once onsite, there was little urgency, and items were placed without following direction. The move stretched from 7am to 8:30pm and cost nearly $700. We would not recommend."

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Tucson, AZ

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
