"So I want to be fair here - Ren came out right away - a bit of a hard sale with the "what price will get you to not get other quotes?" We haggled and his guys showed up as expected and quickly got the job going. Paint colors were matched and found and a lot of what they did was very good work. They even added a couple of nice touches - painted the numbers in the address. But the Southern side of my house had been in poor condition and I had a contractor come in and replace pieces and seal it. Some of the old peeling paint I had spent hours stripping and sanding - i could not get tot he higher stuff and figured i would have the painter do it. Ten assured me they would scrape and prep it. What i got was very quick pressure wash and some knocking off of anything that would chip - The side looks terrible. But from a distance - it was fine. Now a year later with all these rains - i have leaks - i went and looked at the siding and is se cracks in the paint and some of it is peeling. So i contacted Ren to discuss. His response was - it was not his work - the water has nothing to do with anything he did and i should find someone to fix that. I explained i had cracks and peeling - his next e-mail was aggressive accusing me of pointing fingers. Then i got a bizarre e-mail which i am including: Ren Robinson Contractor 12:15 AM (15 hours ago) to me You have a great evening, and I hope you use all the legal resources that you have provided in this great country by our great president (Trump). ?? LIVE IT! LOVE IT! OR LEAVE IT! Trump 2020?? Kind Regards, Ren Robinson I don't even know how this makes any sense to include political statements - with the idea that one should leave the country? We have had no political discussions and this came out of left field. Anyway - i would steer clear of this guy - his work was okay - disappointing prep-work - but everything since then has been a bit of a nightmare - buyer beware. This may have been aggravated by the check i wrote him I had just inherited two Schwab account sand did not know the checking account was attached to the one that had almost nothing in it. Ten was all over me to resolve the issue - and i promptly got on the phone and sorted out the payment - but he was seriously ****** at the returned check - which i profusely apologized for. Ive run companies. I would never treat a customer like that- ever"
