"If you need to have work done on your trees, I WOULD recommend <br /> this company.  They just finished up at my house and I am going to have them <br /> come back to do some other things. <br />   <br /> 1.  They called a WEEK before hand to let me know the <br /> schedule. <br />   <br /> 2.  They called on their way here, as requested, so I could <br /> unlock my gate. <br />   <br /> 3.  They went ABOVE and BEYOND their original "work order" <br /> when they took a closer look at my willow tree.  They removed about 1/3 of the <br /> tree (any more than that could cause it to "stress"), which was damaged or dead <br /> materials. <br />   <br /> 4.  They fixed up some smaller issues on two other trees at no <br /> charge. <br />   <br /> 5.  They cleaned up quite well <br />   <br /> 6.  Said that my trees don't need any more work for TWO years, <br /> so they aren't selling me something I don't need. <br />   <br /> The Arborist Manager was here with the crew.  He said he <br /> usually isn't but they had a big day today.  He went over information about all <br /> my trees, and how I can help them to be more healthy in this arid/poor soil <br /> environment. <br />"

"They did a good job doing the leveling but my husband did not like that when he saw that they did level their work that he had to go get his own string to level the lawn because it was off. So if he wasn't watching the job they would not have done a good job. When I called him to make another appointment he said he would call me right back. Well, he called back a week later. My husband was not happy so we told him no thank you. He calls you back when it is convenient for him not you. Not good business."

Elysia, the landscape architect drew a plan that was exactly what I wanted and added several features that I did not think of. The guys who did the work showed up when they were supposed to and worked hard every day. They were courteous and careful. When the job was done they did a walk through to make sure everything was okay. Someone stopped by a couple days later and checked again. "I called and asked for a after winter cleanup since we moved in to the house just prior to winter and never did anything to the yard. Personal Touch (PT) came out and told me about a Spring Cleanup deal, which was described, but the agent also mentioned numerous other things that apparently didn't fall under Spring cleanup, they were just other services for a different price. I agreed to do the Spring Cleanup and declined a regular service from them to gauge their performance and final cost to see if I would like to continue business with them. $1,300 dollars later (which I have waited to pay to discuss my dissatisfaction; I will be paying, but not doing anymore business with them) and what does not appear to be much work done - mulch turned and added more mulch, trimming, which I take their word they did, and weeding, which I still have many many weeds among my rocks. I know weeds will pop up, but there were weeds almost immediately afterwards and it just didn't look as if I paid someone to weed. I'll eat that one since they can't control the growth of weeds, I just wish they hadn't said to call them back if any weeds pop up. When I did, they said it had rained so they wouldn't honor that any longer. Bottom line for me is, I do not feel like $1,300 dollars was well spent. It also appears as if they charged me for more workers/hours. From what I saw when I returned home, one person could have done the job in a few hours. I was told two (or more?), did the job over 24 hours worth of work, or some explanation like that. I don't recall seeing them at the house for a 24 hour period, even if it was broken up. Bottom line - I will not be using PT again because of pricing compared to work done. I didn't even mention the several other services they offer for a similar price between 800 and 1300 dollars. They wanted me to sign a contract with them, but after what I experienced, I would not ever commit to them. In their defense, I believe they deal with a lot of very wealthy families/homes and retirees. I almost forgot, they claimed to seed my yard, or some kind of treatment due to the yard being very traumatized. The grass never recovered and no reschedule/reseed was attempted so I guess they try, but don't see it through. If their one treatment doesn't take hold, you're on your own. I bet they will help for more money, though. I feel ripped off."

"The project was started in late March and the weather was still giving us snow one day and warm weather the next. I had several changes during the project and Colorado Stoneworks was very willing to make those changes. The finished project was beautiful and totally changed the look of my front yard. The only disappointment I had was that an area that was to have the drip system was not done. Was told that it was, but wasn't checked out totally and come to find out, was not actually done. I possibly lost a shrub due to that, but it was replaced with another. When a couple of the shrubs started to show signs of stress, I called the company and they came out and took a look and got the answer for the problem and told me how to treat it. All in all, I am very pleased with the service and would have this company do any more landscape that I want to have done. <br />"
