Dennis spent much time with me advising me on which products would be best. He even provided a contact with a paint manufacturer and encouraged me to consult with him. This was extremely helpful. He and his men did a wonderful job, with great attention to neatness and detail. He promptly responded to ever contact and finished the job promptly. We could not be more pleased. His price was a little higher but I was willing to employ him because of his helpfulness. It was a great experience and I will use him again. 5.0 Beth M. Bridgeville, DE 7/15/2022 Paint or Stain Exterior Surfaces Dennis and his crew did a fantastic job on my exterior house painting. I have a cedar shake house and I was worried how good of a job a company could do. With DMJ Custom Colors Painting my house was in excellent hands. They sealed the windows and doors, painted my chimney, and even replaced a whole end side of shakes that were rotting. Of course upon my approval, their communication was definitely professional I highly recommend Dennis and his crew at DMJ for any painting project you have. My house looks wonderful!"

"Very thorough and attention to detail"

"I hired Charlie and his crew to paint the interior of my home to match the existing color of the walls. Charlie was quick to get me an estimate and to start work. They were on average, 45 minutes late everyday, with the longest being 2.5 hours from when they said they would show up. I had Charlie bid me to do one coat of paint, mind you he talked me into one coat of paint mentioning that he could do it because I wasn’t changing the paint color. Multiple spots throughout the home were missed because of careless work and spreading the paint too thin with the rollers. Multiple paint drips on the walls, as well as on my white doors and baseboards. There were even spots in the home where trim simply was not cut in at all, causing me to have to go back an repaint/touchup after they left. They cleaned their tools in my bathroom sink and bathtub and used my shower towel to clean up the mess. They even spilt paint on the blanket I was using to sleep with, didn’t tell me, and the only way I found out about it was when I got into bed that evening, my blanket was soaking wet. That said, Charlie and I did work out a replacement for the blanket. They started a fire in my front mulch by putting their cigarettes out there, which is a good thing I caught it, because a home in the neighborhood over burnt down due to the same reason. After all of the work was done, I emailed Charlie about failing to cover all of the walls, like he bid me and promised in the contract, and he placed all of the blame on me for only wanting one cot and was rather nasty in the email reply as well. Bottom line, I will never use this company again and will have to hire a professional to come in and cover up he carelessness of this job."

"These guys spent 5 days crawling under my deck in mud and cold weather replacing rotten supports causing my sunroom and deck to sink. I have no doubt, the work they did will remain sturdy long after I decide to move (no plans at this time). Great job!"
