Joseph Garies, North East Development LLC, RI License #GC-17083 CRLB Complaint C-25-78 Friday (03/28/2025) Joseph Garies asked me to pay (in full) him for these two contracts works. He promised that he will complete everything next day Saturday (03/29/2025) and Monday (03/31/2025). Friday Joseph Garies received the payment he requested and left. Joseph Gari didn’t show up Saturday. He didn’t show up Monday. Monday afternoon (03/31/2025) I got a text message from him, that he doesn’t want to do anything. It is not first Joe Garies takes customers money and run away. Actually, it’s a criminal act. ANGY Gail C. 06/2024 I hired Joe Garies…... I paid him in full. However, he did not finish the project. He gave me excuse after excuse, saying he would finish the project and be there on a particular day, but then that day would come, and Joe would send a text giving me a new excuse that he could not make it…... They destroyed my lawn, cracked my entire concrete driveway that now needs replacement. They also punctured a gutter and garage trim (they did fix gutter and some trim). I now have to also regrade lawn, and fix trim. I do have to add they pulled one shrub as part of the job. They did pull out 3 other shrubs for me, which Joe offered for the work. He continuously told me he did the shrubs as a favor, and should be viewed as "helping me out" and should help to overlook some of the other issues/damage that occurred. This "company" shouldn't be allowed to be in business! Working on the Stone Installation project Joe Garies severely damaged / ruined the stamping concrete patio. To clean it costs $840.00 I sent to Joe Garies a number of emails, asking him to finish the contract. He promised each day to be here, but he never showed up."
