Many snow removal "services" only plow if snow is over two inches deep. That sounds reasonable until there's a winter like this one, when snow is followed by rain, which freezes, followed by more snow, and on it goes, creating a "sandwich effect." If it isn't removed AND maintained, sand and salt used when necessary, it becomes a total nightmare. I know. I've been living it, canceling doctor's appointments, ordering groceries on-line, and meanwhile, living with an often disabling chronic illness.
